Disney Will Use James Gunn’s Script For ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3’; Other Studios Interested In Hiring The Director

It has been nearly a month since Disney has fired director James Gunn from Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 over decade-old offensive tweets, and yet, it looks like no progress has been made to hire someone to replace him. That’s because the firing may not be as cut and dry as first thought. While this may not give us any reason to believe that the studio will rehire Gunn, other competing studios are reportedly making enticing offers to the former Marvel director. More on the story below.

‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ Cast Wants James Gunn Back As Director On ‘Vol. 3’

Individual members of the cast of Guardians Of The Galaxy have already shared words of support for director James Gunn, who was fired by Disney after ultra conservatives unearthed the filmmaker’s decade-old distasteful joke tweets about pedophilia. The more than obvious lapse of time in between those tweets and the posts he makes now shows that he is a changed man. Plus, the number of apologizes he had made, both years ago and now, are proof enough that he realized that those jokes were poor taste.
Now that we’ve heard from various members of the cast, they have come together as a family to released a signed letter of support for Gunn asking that Disney reinstate him as director on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. More on the story here below.

‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Ending Is Real; ‘Avengers 4’ Will Have Surprises

A lot of us are still reeling after the ending of Avengers: Infinity War. With a massive superhero ensemble like this, we knew there would be some casualties, but I don’t think any of us were prepared for what Marvel gave us. Obviously, the upcoming sequel will have some of the heroes who didn’t appear in Infinity War make an appearance in Avengers 4, even a certain hero who could only be reached via retro technology. So as many of us are still coping, screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely are talking about how Avengers 4 will not reverse what was done in Infinity War. That ending was real and permanent, they say. But we can expect to see some surprises in Avengers 4. Check out what the two had to say here below.
Warning: major spoilers ahead, so if you haven’t seen the film, I suggest you do not continue reading on any further.

It has been ten long years since Marvel Studios began its comic book movie journey. Starting the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), we have now reached Avengers: Infinity War, a one of a kind superhero ensemble film so big that it takes heroes from across the globe and the galaxy to defend and protect all life from the likes of Thanos (Josh Brolin), a powerful force who is gathering six Infinity Stones together, so that he may use them to wipe out half of humanity and bring forth balance to the universe.
Though some of these ensemble superhero films may be too big for their own good, Avengers: Infinity War finds a way to make it work. The chemistry between the cast is almost perfect, the action is superb, and the scope of the film is epic. This film is the embodiment of the can’t-miss summer movie event. And what makes this so much more different than its 18 predecessors is that it is able to make the balancing act work.
