New Snickers Commercial Reveals Reason Behind Godzilla’s Rampages (Video)

Godzilla Snickers ad rampage

You know those Snickers commercials where celebrities are used in place of ordinary people (there’s one with Betty White, another with Robin Williams) to demonstrate how “you’re not you when you’re hungry”? While I totally do agree with them that you’re not yourself when you’re hungry and I too have been known to satiate that hunger with a candy bar, I can’t help but roll my eyes every time I see one of these ridiculous commercials… until now.

Snickers has just released what is undoubtedly their best ad in this campaign, and it’s one that features none other than the king of the monsters himself, Godzilla. But, this time around, we find out what’s been prompting his rampages and finally see his never-before-seen “satisfied” side.

Check out the Godzilla-starring commercial here below.

Since its beginning in 1963, the faces, the logo, and the monsters of Doctor Who have graced a myriad of items for sale to the public — from the Dalekmania toys of the 1960s, through series novelizations, and a huge number of Doctor Who comics and comic books (most notably by Watchmen co-creator Dave Gibbons), to board games, breakfast cereal, and toy sonic screwdrivers galore. If you want it, the BBC has been ready to let you have it, pretty much without exception.

Yet there is one place where Doctor Who merchandising has not been allowed to go: LEGO. It’s a seemingly natural fit that just hasn’t come together at all… until now.

Elisa Lam’s Mysterious Cecil Hotel Death To Become Horror Movie

Elisa Lam Elevator Video

Mysterious deaths are not a new thing, obviously. But when said death occurs at a hotel with a history and comes complete with a very strange video of the deceased captured right before whatever it is that happened to them happened, well, that’s something that will garner lots of attention.

One example of this is Elisa Lam, a 21-year-old student from Canada who was visiting Los Angeles one year ago. Not long after arriving, Lam went missing, and eventually her body was discovered inside one of the rooftop water tanks of the Cecil Hotel—tanks which were difficult to access and were located in an area protected by a locked door and alarm system. Her death was ruled an accident, but it understandably remains a mystery thanks in part to a video released of Lam acting eerily in an elevator in the hotel.

Now this mystery has inspired a new horror movie project titled The Bringing, which has been acquired by Sony Pictures and Matt Tolmach Productions. Continue reading for more, and to see the video of Lam acting strange in the elevator and a news report about the mystery.

Disney Princesses as Game Of Thrones characters

Disney characters, especially the Disney princesses, are always a great template to start with for reimagining characters in different fictional universes. And when you can take the normally sweet and innocent heroines and throw them into a world as vicious as Game of Thrones, it is all the better, and just in time for Season 4 to boot!

In this gallery of art, dubbed “The Wonderful World of Westeros”, which you can check out in full here below, artist DjeDjehuti makes some inspiring choices for matching up the Disney princesses with the female character designs from the fan favorite HBO series.

Some of the best match-ups include the newer Disney princess Miranda as Ygritte, Snow White as Shae, and Lilo as Arya. Even Mushu, from Mulan, gets to make a supporting appearance as one of Daenerys’ dragons.

Check out the full gallery below, and if you’re in need of some more Disney princess mash-ups, check them out as Star Wars characters or after they get a dark and twisted makeover.

Rob Zombie

Rob Zombie has teamed up with writer Bret Easton Ellis and Alcon Television to develop a project for Fox about the 1969 Manson Family murders, according to Variety.

The project, which is reportedly in a very early stage of development at Fox, will be directed by Zombie, who has long had a fascination with Charles Manson, the mastermind behind the gruesome California killings, which left actress Sharon Tate — who had been 8 1/2 months pregnant with filmmaker Roman Polanski’s child — and several others dead. In 2013, the former White Zombie singer turned filmmaker created the Rob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare Halloween haunted house attraction in Los Angeles, CA, which included elements from the Mansion Family killing spree.
