‘Dragon Age: Inquisition’ Multiplayer Gameplay Trailer

A gameplay trailer has been released for the recently confirmed Dragon Age: Inquisition multiplayer mode.

‘X-Men’ Writers Working On ACME ‘Looney Tunes’ Movie

Warner Brothers is readying a new ACME movie, which will be rooted in the classic animated Looney Tunes world, and they’ve hired the writers of X-Men: First Class to work on the screenplay.
Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz, whose other credits include Thor, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and Fringe (as well as other in development projects such as Top Gun 2 and Power Rangers), will work on the script, while I Love You Phillip Morris and Crazy, Stupid, Love directors John Requa and Glenn Ficarra are in talks to helm the movie.

Each and every week, I, “Itchy!” Henchman 21 and “Scratchy!” Empress Eve read a lot of comics. Seriously you guys, a lot of comics. Maybe too many comics. I mean, it is possible”¦ theoretically. Naturally, we look forward to some more than others. I mean, who doesn’t? So, let’s take a look into the depths of our pull lists, grab some comics, and we’ll let YOU know what the top books to look forward to are for the week of August 27, 2014. Single issues and trades, they’re all here.
It’s a week of goodbyes as we mourn the end of one great series and the end of an era for a publisher. Fret not though because it’s also a week of hellos as we welcome some new series that should be a lot of fun. Also, Flash Gordon is on the list because Flash Gordon is awesome! Warner Bros. Wants DC Comics Movies To Cut Out The Funny and Be More Serious

If there is one thing that separates the movies of Marvel Studios and DC Comics, it’s the tone. While Marvel has been able to juggle the dramatic and humor and give it some bubblegum pop, DC Comics’ films have been defined by their serious and gritty tone and monotone colors, this thanks in part to Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy. Green Lantern tried to take a shot at showing DC Comic’s comedic side, but to no avail since the film tanked at the box office.
While not being funny isn’t a detriment to a film, it sure is nice to see a film try to lighten things up with some sort of humor. The Dark Knight trilogy had jokes, but let’s face it, they really didn’t do much for the film. And that’s okay, Nolan wasn’t exactly striving to have comedy in those films. And it looks like Warner Bros. wants to continue that mantra by not having any jokes in future DC Comics film adaptations.
