President Barack Obama made an appearance yesterday on The Colbert Report where the U.S. prez took over “The Word” segment of the show, rebranding it “The Decree.” Just before the President took Stephen Colbert‘s seat behind the desk, he told the host, “You’ve been taking a lot of shots at my job, I decided I’m gonna go ahead and take a shot at yours.” In the segment, Obama took on his “Obamacare” healthcare detractors, reading off the script as if he were Colbert, to humorous effect. | Here’s What Hodor From ‘Game Of Thrones’ and DJ Kristian Nairn’s “Rave Of Thrones” Intro Looks Like
A fun little fact some of you fans of Game of Thrones might not know, is that the actor who plays the gentle giant Hodor, Kristian Nairn, is also a DJ. Thankfully, if you’re not able to make it to one, you can now get an idea of what it’s like. A video has been uploaded of how the event kicks off, which involves a little pre-show LARPing, some epic music, and perhaps a certain iron throne. You can check it out below.

We’ve been hearing about a new adaptation of author Stephen King‘s horror meganovel It for a long time now, and it looks like the time for it to finally become a reality is fast approaching. A couple of years back we found out that Sin Nombre director Cary Fukunaga would be making a two-part adaptation of the book, something that became even more exciting when people got a better idea of what Fukunaga brings to the table after seeing his work directing all eight episodes of the first season of HBO’s True Detective. Producer Dan Lin spoke about It recently, saying that the current plan is to start officially prepping the first movie in March for a summer 2015 shoot. He also said that they even have the blessing of King himself, which should help fans of the book to feel better about the adaptation.
