Ubisoft has released a lengthy launch trailer for Far Cry 4. The 101 trailer runs over eight minutes, and covers everything you need to know about the upcoming first-person shooter, including locations, weapons, vehicles, side quests, skills and crafting, co-op and PvP, and so on.

The game will be released on November 18th, and can be pre-ordered for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC (Physical l Download) now.

Now that The Walking Dead video game’s second season and the debut season of The Wolf Among Us have wrapped up, it’s time for Telltale Games’ next pair of games to take over.

Their episodic entry into Gearbox Software’s hugely popular Borderlands franchise, titled Tales from the Borderlands, is on the way, and also the highly anticipated six-part first season of Telltale’s take on Game of Thrones is set to premiere later this year.

In honor of the fact that I am taking my 12 year-old son and his friend to see Slayer, Exodus, and Suicidal Tendencies at The Forum in Los Angeles tomorrow night, this week’s Thrashback Thursday thrashes all the way back to where it started for me. I was about their age when I went down that heavy metal rabbit hole. Slayer and early Metallica were like a godsend for a hormonal teenage boy to headband his aggressions, frustrations, and angst out to. May the metal be as kind to the kids as it’s been to me all of these years.

With the opening track of their brilliant 1984 EP Haunting The Chapel here is the mighty Slayer with “Chemical Warfare.”

Geeky music videos are nothing new, but they very rarely get old. Especially when they’re as catchy as this.

Back in 2004, H.P. Mendoza released his first album, titled Everything is Pop. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of its release, here’s the music video for the album’s geek anthem, “In Ten Years.” It’s a video that’s sure to spark great feelings of nostalgia in most of you, with nods to old video games, movies, technology, and even fashion…while anyone younger might find themselves staring at the computer rather confused at days gone by.
