In a glorious short video released this morning, Marvel finally revealed the release date for its ambitious new online series Daredevil starring Charlie Cox in the titular role.

The series will debut on Netflix in its entirety and will be primed for binge-viewing on April 10, 2015. Check out the special “motion poster” video reveal here below.

Daredevil is the story of a masked vigilante named Matt Murdock who, while being blind, has been trained to hone his superhuman senses to defend his New York neighborhood of Hell’s Kitchen. Joining Cox as Daredevil will be Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Ayelet Zurer, Rosario Dawson, and Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin. The series will be the first of four that will lead to a “Marvel’s Defenders series featuring the characters from all the standalone shows — Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage.
