Everyone’s favorite childhood puppet show, Sesame Street, is no stranger to parodying popular TV shows and movies. In the past we’ve seen them take on Star Wars with Star S’Mores, Best Picture Oscar winner Birdman in Big Birdman, and hit Netflix original series House of Cards with House of Bricks. Now, with season five set to begin this upcoming Sunday, Sesame Street is spoofing HBO’s original drama juggernaut Game of Thrones in Game of Chairs.
The video features puppet versions of some of your favorite characters competing to sit on the throne…in a friendly game of musical chairs, of course. In addition to the familiar characters, there’s also plenty of subtle nods to the show no kids who watch Sesame Street will understand (“Can we hurry this up? I have a wedding to get to.”).
You can watch Game of Chairs below.
About the video and more about Sesame Street:
The Game of Chairs will determine who will be king or queen of Jesteros. Four players will march around three chairs while music plays until one remains. Who will take the crown in this game of musical chairs? Robb, Cersie, Joffrey, Daeneyrus or”¦.?
You can catch Sesame Street in the morning and the afternoon, weekdays on PBS.
