Weird Loners
Season 1 Episode 4: “Weird Knight”
Directed by Reginald Hudlin
Written by Joanna Quraishi, Michael J Weithorn
Created by Michael J Weithorn
Starring Becki Newton, Zachary Knighton, Nate Torrence, Meera Rohit Kumbhani
FOX
Air Date: Tuesday, April 21st, 2015, 9:30pm Quirky comedy, Weird Loners is up to its 4th of 6 episodes. Still no word on a Season 2. So what is this little show about? Caryn (Becki Newton) and Eric (Nate Torrence) are neighbors. She has a wild roommate and he lived with his dad until he passed. Stosh (Zachary Knighton) is his cousin and moved in under the pretense of helping him deal, while really he pretty much lost everything because of his penis (sleeping with coworkers wives and girlfriends), and was homeless. And Zara (Meera Rohit Kumbhani) is a street artist who left her fiance, helped Eric home one day, and moved in with Caryn. The four have a funny chemistry and put the “weird” in weird. Although they do get mad at each other (well really scammer Stosh), there is genuine affection, and no one is sleeping with each other yet! It is only episode 4, so maybe soon. There are some laughs and the characters are interesting so far. I guess we’ll stick it out a few more episodes and see what happens.

Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man has seen its fair share of problems. Edgar Wright dropped out at the last minute because of a major script overhaul; the studio eventually settled on Peyton Reed to replace him as director; Adam McKay and star Paul Rudd did rewrites to Wright’s script. No one will really know what Wright’s version of the movie would have looked like had he stayed on to direct, and in fact there are only a few people who have seen the actual script. Joss Whedon is one of those people. The Avengers: Age of Ultron director recently spoke about Ant-Man, and praised Wright’s script calling it one of the best that Marvel has ever had. Mad Men
Season 7 Episode 10 “The Forecast”
Directed by Jennifer Getzinger
Written by Jonathan Igla and Matthew Weiner
Created by Matthew Weiner
Starring Jon Hamm, Elizabeth Moss, Christina Hendricks, January Jones, Vincent Kartheiser, John Slattery, Rich Sommer, Aaron Staton, Kiernan Shipka, Kevin Rahm
AMC
Air Date: Sunday, April 19th, 2015, 10pm It’s almost time to say goodbye to this exquisitely made period drama. There are only three episodes left til the finale of Mad Men. Before that happens though, let’s recap last week’s episode and review this week’s. Don (Jon Hamm) had a rough time of it last week. Megan (Jessica Pare) flew in to negotiate divorce terms, and left with a million dollars (which he gave her), and all his furniture (which he didn’t). Well… that part was her angry mother. He found and lost his waitress. SHE rejected him because she must be bananas. Don stared with longing at the family picture Betty (January Jones), Henry (Christopher Stanley), and the kids made. A new photographer, Pima (guest star Mimi Rogers) scores with Stan (Jay R. Ferguson) but not with Peggy (Elizabeth Moss). Harry (Rich Sommer) is a sleazeball, expecting sex from Megan for help with her career, then bad mouths her to Don (who does not care) later. I wanted to kill Harry. The end of that episode with Don standing in the middle of his empty apartment was jarring.
