As of last week, Captain Holt and Gina (Andre Braugher and Chelsea Peretti) are still not back at the precinct on Brooklyn Nine-Nine. They are busy trying to get positive PR for the NYPD. I miss them!

Tiny bit of spoilers below.

The Vulture (great at being douche-y guest star Dean Winters) is still torturing the 99, forcing the squad to only do the lesser cases, and give the real ones to Major Crimes, all because of a bet. He also demands that Santiago and Diaz (Melissa Fumero and Stephanie Beatriz) plan his birthday party. Santiago can’t help but follow orders, it’s just how she’s wired. Rosa is so good at being deadpan, she delivers “in a bar” and it’s funny. They do manage to pull it off though.

Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio) accidentally gets Terry hooked on cacao nibs, and we get to see Terry Crews in a fatsuit. That’s a little side story that is okay, but not one of my favorites.

Peralta (Andy Samberg) can’t take it, and accidentally finds an MO of a serial killer, the Oolong Slayer, amidst the boring files. Time to sneak! He brings them to Holt, who is totally in. He’s been slowly dying inside in this PR position.

The lines… the lines! These writers are so good. And these actors know how to deliver. You can catch these in the videos below.

Peralta: “Looks like we both got a pretty bad case of jerk boss.”
Holt: “Yes yours is an idiot and mine is a fork-tongued lizard witch.”

Said fork-tongued lizard witch called their insults “foreplay.” Love it!

Gina and Holt meet Peralta in an alley.

Peralta: “I think this is where Batman’s parents got killed.”

Um… I really think it is. They are both FOX. I bet it is.

Gina got a few more zingers (it’s never enough!), but I think we will be seeing more of her.

In the end, my dream of dreams came true. The rest of the season is going to be Awesome!!!!

Brooklyn Nine-Nine airs Sunday nights at 8:30pm ET on FOX.
