A new trailer for WB’s Suicide Squad was revealed today in Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con.
Watch the over 3-minute trailer here below!
We’re currently at the WB panel in Hall H, which is still in progress, so keep it at Geeks Of Doom as we bring you news all day from SDCC.
Suicide Squad stars Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, Jay Hernandez, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Scott Eastwood, Cara Delevingne, Adam Beach, and Karen Fukuhara, were at the panel, along with writer/director David Ayer, who said he was thankful to WB for letting him make his movie.
Smith said its not a movie about good and bad, but bad vs. evil. Robbie said the cast did most of the stunts themselves. Ayer said he didn’t know anyone else who worked as hard as Robbie.
Davis said she played herself when it came to her character.
Ayer said finding the right music for the movie really transcends the picture. Smith proceeded to beatbox and said it wasn’t used in the film.
Smith said that no matter how cool you think you are, your kids still think you suck. Smith explained a rehearsal process by talking about Leto’s method action (staying in character between shots) and dealing with how a big man dropped a box saying it was a message from Mr. J. The message said it was from The Joker, and when Robbie opened the box she found a rat. Smith said even though he was playing Deadshot, if he had petals on he would have clutched them. He credited Leto’s contribution (he plays The Joker) to bringing the film together and creating a fun chemistry between them. Ayer called him the hammer that made the sword sharp.
