I apologize for sounding sixteen at the moment, but OMG!!! The Flash season 3 trailer was shown at San Diego Comic-Con yesterday, and it looks to be everything I have hope for. This first look takes us back then forth in time to see how Barry Allen’s (Grant Gustin) life has changed since he saved him mom.
Check out the video below.
Time moves backward and Barry goes to his old house and his parents walk out to greet him – true happiness. There is always a price though, isn’t there? Everything is supremely different though.
Iris (Candice Patton) : “You look really familiar. I’ve seen you before haven’t I?” They are really meant to be together in every timeline.
Cisco (Carlos Valdes): Uh-uh. You don’t call me that. I don’t know you string bean.”
Joe (Jesse L Martin): “We’re not partners and we’re not friends. You don’t know me. You don’t know my life.”
And although that’s bad, that is not the worst. The timeline is messing with him. We see a “flash” of ALCHEMY, Eobard Thawne taunting him, and Kid Flash (Keiynan Lonsdale). Okay, Kid Flash is awesome, but it shows how messed up Barry made things. Everything is topsy-turvy in “Flashpoint.”
It does seem that we won’t have to wait very long for everything to unravel. But I would rather Cisco be the coolest man in America than “the richest man in America.”
So excited!
The Flash returns Tuesday, October 4 on The CW with “Flashpoint!”

THE FLASH Comic-Con® 2016 Highlight Reel & Season 3 First Look
THE FLASH electrified fans at their Comic-Con 2016 panel session in Ballroom 20 on Saturday, July 23, with an exclusive highlight reel that offered attendees a first look at footage from the show’s fast-approaching third season. The super-charged sizzle reel not only revealed one of the upcoming season’s primary DC villains, Dr. Alchemy, but also shed some light on how Barry’s decision to travel back in time and save his mother would open the door to the iconic Flashpoint storyline as the show races into Season 3, which premieres Tuesday, October 4, at 8/7c on The CW.
