| ‘The Batman’ Script Getting Complete Overhaul; Won’t Start Shooting Until 2018 |

The Batman has been in a production stall ever since the title was announced. Despite having then-director Ben Affleck and Geoff Johns writing the script with Chris Terrio doing the rewrites, and Affleck bowing out as director only to have Matt Reeves take his place, the film has yet to shoot a single scene. While the box office speaks for itself, critics have not been kind to the DCEU films, and things can only get worse with more behind-the-scenes troubles affecting the overall morale. Now, it is being confirmed that Reeves’ current obligation to War for the Planet of the Apes is forcing the production of The Batman to be pushed back. | ‘The Fly’ Remake To Step Out Of The Teleport Chamber From ‘Sleight’ Director |

Sure, the word remake tends to make people cringe, but with the right people behind it, said remake could be very good. That takes us to a remake of The Fly. According to new reports, a new version of the film is on the way from Sleight director J.D. Dillard and his writing partner Alex Theurer. More on the story below. Deadline says Dillard will develop a new script with his writing partner Theurer. The new film would fly under the 20th Century Fox banner. Apparently, a remake was in the works over at the studio, and it was only a matter of time before news of it came about.

Netflix has released a trailer for comedian and former host of the Comedy Central sketch comedy title Chappelle’s Show Dave Chappelle‘s long-awaited return. Chappelle returns with a bang, too, as this trailer is not for one new stand-up special but two of them, both of which are coming on the same day and very soon. | ‘American Gods’ Trailer: Shadow Learns Of The Coming War Between The Gods
It was back in July during Comic-Con that Starz debuted the first footage for American Gods, their upcoming original series based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Neil Gaiman. Luckily, Ray (Brandon Routh) still had all his knowledge and shelter from when he was stuck there. He advised Nate (Nick Zano) not to get with Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) because of her destiny. Sara and Jax (Caity Lotz, Franz Drameh) entered Rip’s brain to get the secret spear info. Inside, they found evil versions of the team and a flesh and blood Gideon. Sara found the real Rip and talked him into fighting for freedom. Spoilers below.
