It looks like the world of Pokemon is about to get a major attitude problem now that Ryan Reynolds is in talks to lend his voice to Detective Pikachu, the first ever live-action Pokemon movie. Yes, the live-action Pokemon movie is still in the works, having just cast two other actors in the past few weeks. But adding Reynolds should prove to be the star power the film needs to draw some major attention. More on the story below.

The fan convention, which started back in 2012, serves as a traveling celebration to AMC’s hit series The Walking Dead as well as all things genre. Walker Stalker welcomes over 30 celebrity guests, features panels and Q&As with the stars on their Main Stage, a cosplay contest, and all the merchandise you need for the holiday season. Star Wars is entering a new age within its own legacy. These new films have become much more diverse in characters and in tone since being acquired by Disney. With Star Wars: The Last Jedi just a few weeks away from release, director Rian Johnson was tasked with continuing J.J. Abrams’ The Force Awakens story. While it may sound like he was confined to a certain narrative, Johnson never forgot that this ultimately was a Star Wars movie. Geeks of Doom had a chance to sit down with their fellow journalists to talk to the director and cast about the upcoming film, how it may differ from The Force Awakens and other sequels in general, and how making it has impacted their lives. Universal has been dropping a couple of teases for the first trailer for the highly anticipated Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Though we don’t know much about the film itself, the teases have shown that Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) and Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) return to the island, while trying to outrun an active volcano and not be eaten by dinosaurs. In the hours leading up to the trailer’s release, the studio has just unveiled their latest promotional material, a behind-the-scenes look at the film. Check it out below.
