Netflix has released the first trailer for Disenchantment, the latest animated series from Matt Groening, the creator of two of the greatest animated series of all time, The Simpsons and Futurama.
This first trailer is just a teaser trailer, and tease it does at only 30 seconds long or so. But it does give us our first good peek at the show and that’s enough to be excited about.
You can read a brief synopsis for Disenchantment and check out the first trailer below.
SYNOPSIS:
In Disenchantment, viewers will be whisked away to the crumbling medieval kingdom of Dreamland, where they will follow the misadventures of hard-drinking young princess Bean, her feisty elf companion Elfo, and her personal demon Luci. Along the way, the oddball trio will encounter ogres, sprites, harpies, imps, trolls, walruses, and lots of human fools.
The first season of Disenchantment is set to be released on Netflix on August 17th.
