We first got a look at Top Cow’s Bushido a few months back when it was released digitally through Comixology, and now that the series is set to hit the good old brick-and-mortar world of printed comics, we’re back to give you another look at the series. Bushido, written by Rob Levin with beautiful art by Jessada Sutthi, is the story of Kichiro, a gaijin who loses his family, but gains a new one in feudal Japan, where he learns the way of the samurai. His life seems pretty good despite the tragedy until he runs into the same nightmarish creatures that ruined his life once. If you haven’t already checked out the issue, take a look below, and if you like what you see pick up the first issue in stores on October 2, 2013.

Each and every week, I, “Thing 1″ Henchman21, and “Thing 2″ Empress Eve read a lot of comics. Seriously you guys, a lot of comics. Maybe too many comics. I mean, it is possible”¦ theoretically. Naturally, we look forward to some more than others. I mean, who doesn’t? So, let’s take a look into the depths of our pull lists, grab some comics, and we’ll let YOU know what the top books to look forward to are for the week of September 11, 2013. Single issues and trades, they’re all here. I’ll admit, the old list has been a bit Marvel comics heavy the last few weeks. Granted, I stand behind every comic I choose to put on the list, but I do feel like I should be giving all you fine readers a look at more indie titles that you should check out. Well, I’m changing that this week with a stack of books from all those independent minded contractors. So, if you want something different, this is the where you’re going to find it on another installment of The GoD List!

Each and every week, I, “Football!!!!!!!!!” Henchman21, and “Shut Up!!!!!!!!!” Empress Eve read a lot of comics. Seriously you guys, a lot of comics. Maybe too many comics. I mean, it is possible”¦ theoretically. Naturally, we look forward to some more than others. I mean, who doesn’t? So, let’s take a look into the depths of our pull lists, grab some comics, and we’ll let YOU know what the top books to look forward to are for the week of September 4, 2013. Single issues and trades, they’re all here. It’s event madness time in the world of comics this week, with the second issue of Marvel’s Infinity, the launch of DC’s Forever Evil and Villains Month events, and a new X-Men event all coming out this week. Comics companies love crossovers, comic readers say they hate them but buy the crap out of them anyway, so it should come as no surprise that we keep getting them. However, if you don’t like comic stories that force you to buy a bunch of comics you may or may not normally, there’s still plenty of new issues to keep you occupied. Don’t worry, we have something for everyone on this week’s GoD List!
