| Watch Now: Launch Trailer For ‘The Walking Dead: 400 Days’
I know more than a few people have been eagerly anticipating the next chapter in Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead video game, and their wait is either already over or will be shortly over as the new episode, 400 Days, launched on July 2nd on PlayStation Network. The DLC will be arriving on other platforms over the next week, and you can check out a trailer and find out when it hits other platforms below. The trailer focuses on the five short stories that make up the gameplay of 400 Days. And if you haven’t played the game before, the first episode of the five-episode first season of The Walking Dead, titled “A New Day,” is free on PlayStation Network, so make sure you don’t miss out on the chance to get hooked for free.

Each and every week, I, “Airwolf” Henchman21, and “Knight Rider” Empress Eve read a lot of comics. Seriously you guys, a lot of comics. Maybe too many comics. I mean, it is possible”¦ theoretically. Naturally, we look forward to some more than others. I mean, who doesn’t? So, let’s take a look into the depths of our pull lists, grab some comics, and we’ll let YOU know what the top books to look forward to are for the week of July 3, 2013. Single issues and trades, they’re all here. It’s kind of a slow week for comics, since it seems like everything came out last week, plus it’s a holiday week, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t books to get excited about. And so, we got a few new series and some new issues from series that have been going on for a while. If you don’t have a lot of new issues of your regular series out this week, it may be a good time to check out some titles that you haven’t read before. | NBCUniversal and Lion Forge Set to Launch Digital Comics Based On ’80s & ’90s TV Shows
Have you ever wanted a comic based on the seminal ’90s television series Saved by the Bell? Or maybe the ’80s classic Miami Vice? Really? You have? You may need to have your head examined. On the plus side, if seeing either of these books has been your dream then this is a good day for you as it has been announced that digital publisher Lion Forge Comics has acquired the license to publish comic books based on shows from the NBCUniversal Television Group. Lion Forge has announced the first five books they will publish will be based on the two shows mentioned above as well as Airwolf, Knight Rider, and Punky Brewster.

| BOOM! Studios and Archaia Entertainment Join Forces |

In a move to continue growing the size and diversity of their comic book output, BOOM! Studios has announced today that they have merged their operations with Archaia Entertainment. The Archaia brand will live on as an imprint of BOOM! Studios, join their normal line, as well as the KaBOOM! line designed for all-ages books. Today’s announcement declares that this move gives BOOM! the largest independent company-controlled comic book catalog (Image doesn’t count since individual creators maintain ownership under Image, that’s kind of their thing). BOOM! Studios have been steadily expanding for years, adding original series to their licensed comics. They have had a number of great creators working for them, from Frank Miller and Mark Waid to Paul Jenkins and Brian Stelfreeze. They are currently riding high on a series of successful tie-ins to some Cartoon Network properties, notably their line of Adventure Time books.
