Live-Action ‘Swamp Thing’ Series In The Works

Despite some of the shaky later seasons for Arrow and The Flash, DC television is far superior to its Marvel competitors. New shows like Krypton and Black Lightning may not be connected to the Arrowverse, but they have proven to be huge hits with TV audiences. It’s been revealed that a live-action Swamp Thing is in the works.
The series will be coming to DC’s digital streaming service, called DC Universe, and Aquaman director James Wan will be one of the creative figureheads behind the upcoming show. More on the story and an image of the logo below.

NY Wintercon 2016 Interview: Scream Queen Adrienne Barbeau

One of the highlights of NY Wintercon 2016 at Resorts World Casino in Queens last weekend were, in fact, the queens themselves — the scream queens, that is. Barbeau has spent the better part of 40 years in TV and films and many of those years were spent in the horror and sci-fi genre in classics like The Fog, Escape From New York, Swamp Thing, and Creepshow. I caught up with her at her at the convention, where I was able to snag a short interview one with my favorite scream queens.
