About a month ago we saw a teaser trailer for Swamp Thing, DC’s upcoming live-action series based on the comic book character created by writer Len Wein and artist Bernie Wrightson. The series stars Crystal Reed, Henderson Wade, Jennifer Beals, Andy Bean, Virginia Madsen, Will Patton, Maria Sten, Kevin Durand, and Derek Mears as the title character. | Teaser Trailer For Live-Action ‘Swamp Thing’ Series Released
Almost one year ago, we found out that a live-action Swamp Thing series was in the works for DC’s streaming service DC Universe. Now a teaser trailer has been released for the series, which is based on the DC characters written and drawn by Len Wein and Bernie Wrightson. And if you’re a fan of horror, it’s something you’re definitely going to want to see. You can check out the trailer below, along with a brief synopsis and a reveal video that was shared last week.

| Live-Action ‘Swamp Thing’ Series In The Works
Despite some of the shaky later seasons for Arrow and The Flash, DC television is far superior to its Marvel competitors. New shows like Krypton and Black Lightning may not be connected to the Arrowverse, but they have proven to be huge hits with TV audiences. The comic book company has a number of properties to work with, and they have now announced their latest superhero to get a series treatment. It’s been revealed that a live-action Swamp Thing is in the works. The series will be coming to DC’s digital streaming service, called DC Universe, and Aquaman director James Wan will be one of the creative figureheads behind the upcoming show. I got to interview the cast during NYCC back in October, and they were all very excited about the twists and turns that this season will feature. Season 3 of the hit STARZ series picks up right from where season 2 ended, with Ash and the Ghost Beaters victorious over evil, and rewriting Ash’s legacy in his hometown of Elk’s Grove, Michigan. But c’mon, this is Ash and evil never stays dead for long.

| ‘Ash vs Evil Dead’ Season 3 Airdate Revealed!
FINALLY! We officially have a start date for Season 3 of Ash vs Evil Dead, which will consist of 10 half-hour episodes, and it is”¦ Sunday, February 25, 2018 at 9PM. This comes after Starz had been treading water on announcing an airdate despite the season being completely wrapped months ago. Fan of the blood-soaked horror comedy were in panic mode, fearing the worst after the cable network failed to advertise it over the summer. In its first two seasons, Ash vs Evil Dead had debuted on or near Halloween. The announcement became official right in time for this year’s New York Comic-Con, where the crew from AvED will take over Hammerstein Ballroom for their panel on Saturday.
