| Steve Niles and Menton3’s ‘Nosferatu Wars’ Comes To ‘Dark Horse Presents’ |

Dark Horse Comics announced Monday that Steve Niles and Menton3‘s Nosferatu Wars is coming to the pages of Dark Horse Presents later this year.
A while back, Steve Niles posted some artwork for the upcoming Nosferatu Wars on his twitter account, and while he’s intent on going creator owned, I for one wondered what publisher this comic would be released through. I figured that it was a safe assumption that the book would be coming out through IDW considering his working relationship with the publisher on his new 30 Days of Night ongoing series. But Monday, Dark Horse Comics confirmed that it will indeed be coming out within the pages of Dark Horse Presents. Now, in what issue in the anthology comic is a completely different story. And we still don’t have that information.

Each and every week “Let’s Go Red Wings!” MK2Fac3 and “Clap! Clap! Clap, Clap, Clap!” Henchman21 read a lot of comics. Seriously you guys, a lot of comics. Maybe too many comics. I mean, it is possible”¦ theoretically. They look forward to some more than others, I mean, who doesn’t? So, let’s take a look into the depths of their pull lists, grab some comics, and we’ll let YOU know what the top books to look forward to are for the week of January 25, 2012. Single issues and trades, they’re all here. The other day, I was staring down the barrel of a 30-issue stack of comics with wide eyes and a full heart. By the time I got halfway through, the fact of the matter is that my eyes were starting to squint and my heart shrunk 10 sizes. I’m kind of the reverse-Grinch after he stole Christmas. But only with comics. And really, it’s tough to get excited about comics, because honestly… they let you down a lot of times. So, it’s always a good thing when you find a couple of people that can give you guidance on what are safe bets for things that don’t suck. Hopefully we are those people for you, and when we’re not certain on what’s going to be good or not, we tell you honestly. If there’s one thing you can trust, we’re not here to promote companies, we’re here to promote comics that we enjoy and that we think that you will enjoy. So, enjoy this, The GoD List, your place for weekly comics and collections!

| Digital Comics Deal: IDW’s ‘Infestation’ Half Off Sale |
By Hunter Camp

Tuesday, January 24th, 2012 at 6:00 pm |

Comixology and IDW Publishing announced today that they will be offering a half off, 99-cent sale for IDW’s recent crossover event Infestation. Now, you know how crossover events work, right? A comic book publishing company schedules a mini-series that “changes the face of the comic book company forever!” You know about those right? All the big companies do them. And you also may know that IDW has a lot of licensed properties and there’s not a lot of marriage between those comic book titles, as well. Right? Well, you’d be right on all those accounts. So, if it’s hard to wrap your brain around, I totally understand. It’s hard for me, too. But in 2011, it actually happened! That is correct, sir or madame, IDW tied together their universe with a zombie outbreak story that infected and affected the pages and characters of Star Trek, Transformers, G.I. Joe, and Ghostbusters. That’s both insane and awesome, isn’t it? I mean, I don’t know how it works, but I’d love to see a zombie Transformer.
