Disney’s Zootopia brings back anthropomorphic characters for an all new adventure. The film will put a twist on the buddy cop genre by pairing two characters — the sly con artist fox Nick Wilde and by-the-book rabbit cop Judy Hopps, who are normally associated as predator and prey — together to help solve a huge mystery taking place in the titular city of Zootopia. The anthropomorphic metropolis is home to areas like Sahara Square, which was built for desert animals; Tundra Town, a snowy and cold structures for cold animals; the humid Rainforest District; and The Bunny District, home to millions of rabbits living in bunny-shaped houses, with an ever-growing population. Now Disney has released a brand new poster giving us an idea of how their world isn’t that much different from our own. Check out the full poster below.

| First Trailer For ‘The Angry Birds Movie’ Is Here
Remember Angry Birds? Me neither! But while the game isn’t talked about as much as it used to be, the animated movie we first heard about back in December of 2012 is still on the way whether you’re ready for it or not. Officially titled The Angry Birds Movie, it features quite the cast including Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph, Kate McKinnon, Bill Hader, Peter Dinklage, Keegan-Michael Key, Tony Hale, and others. As an added bonus, the movie doesn’t look as awful as you may have imagined it was going to look. Whether the final product ends up ultimately being a pleasant surprise, however, is a question to be answered on another day. You can read a synopsis and check out the first trailer for The Angry Birds Movie below.

Lego Star Wars: The New Yoda Chronicles
DVD
Starring Eric Bauza, Michael Daingerfield, Anthony Daniels, Trevor Devall
Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment
Release date: September 13, 2015 LEGO and Star Wars proved they were a winning combination when they teamed up in 2005 for Lego Star Wars: The Video Game, and the two properties have made a perfect marriage of fun every since. Lego Star Wars: The New Yoda Chronicles is a DVD collection of four 22-minute episodes of the Lego Star Wars television series that aired on Disney XD in 2014 in what is actually the second season. While the first season (collected as Lego Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles) was set during the Prequel era, these new episodes take place mostly during the Original Trilogy years and feature Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Princess Leia, as well as the droids C-3PO and R2-D2, and of course Yoda. But, there’s many more familiar faces appearing as animated LEGO versions of their big-screen selves in this round of tales.

Star Wars Rebels
The Complete Season 1
Blu-ray | DVD
Created by Dave Filoni, Simon Kinberg, Carrie Beck
Starring Freddie Prinze Jr., Taylor Gray, Vanessa Marshall, Tiya Sircar, Steve Blum, David Oyelowo, Jason Isaacs
Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment
Release date: September 1, 2015 As a life-long Star Wars fan, I’ve always kept my ear to the ground for anything new in the universe, especially during those post-Jedi drought years. I would take anything I could get, even an Ewok adventure, if it meant more Star Wars and I devoured the offerings of the Expanded Universe. But, as with many fans like me, I became jaded and partially disinterested after the disappointing prequel films. While the Clone Wars animated series helped reinvigorate my love of the franchise and J.J. Abrams’ upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens feature film has given me hope that Star Wars can be restored to its former glory, I didn’t know what to expect of Star Wars Rebels, a new CGI-animated series airing on Disney XD. After Disney acquired Lucasfilm, the company eventually revealed that all their new Star Wars projects — movies, TV show, books, video games, you name it — would be considered “canon,” with Rebels to be the first new on-screen project to meet this qualification. That means that everything that happens in Rebels would be considered official, sanctioned, true, untouchable, unchangeable — that’s a huge deal. Let me just put it out there right up front: Star Wars Rebels is awesome and I love it.
