Disney’s ‘Zootopia’ Poster Teases Animal City’s Times Square

Disney’s Zootopia brings back anthropomorphic characters for an all new adventure. The film will put a twist on the buddy cop genre by pairing two characters — the sly con artist fox Nick Wilde and by-the-book rabbit cop Judy Hopps, who are normally associated as predator and prey — together to help solve a huge mystery taking place in the titular city of Zootopia.
The anthropomorphic metropolis is home to areas like Sahara Square, which was built for desert animals; Tundra Town, a snowy and cold structures for cold animals; the humid Rainforest District; and The Bunny District, home to millions of rabbits living in bunny-shaped houses, with an ever-growing population. Now Disney has released a brand new poster giving us an idea of how their world isn’t that much different from our own. Check out the full poster below.

Cannes 2014: This ‘Legend of Conan’ Promotional Poster Is Truly What Is Best In Life
|

Every year, the Cannes Film Festival screens the latest features from some of the world’s most prestigious directors amidst a sea of glitz and glamor, and by a jury of celebrated filmmakers and artisans select titles are handed awards for various achievements their financiers and distributors will make great use of when they begin to mount the inevitable Oscar campaigns several months later.
Cannes is also the place where producers and filmmakers come to peddle their latest movies and raise funds for future projects with little more than hastily-assembled posters and trailers to show potential investors. The posters that emerge from every Cannes Film Festival are some of the craziest, retina-scouring images a human being could ever gaze upon. But on occasion you might find something amazing hiding among the dreck, such as this sales poster for the long-in-gestation The Legend of Conan.
You can check it out here below.

‘Red Dawn’ Poster: Introducing The New Generation Of Wolverines
|
 |

What a difference a couple of years make. After sitting on a shelf for the better part of two years, the remake of Red Dawn hits theaters this Thanksgiving. The film features a new generation of American’s youth defending their land against the forces of the North Koreans. Originally the film’s antagonists were the Chinese, but the film was digitally altered so that the antagonists would be North Koreans. We previously posted two new images from the film, and now we got our first look at the poster for Red Dawn, which looks like one of the options you would see on an instagram photo. Check it out below.
As you can see, MGM and Open Road are slowly pushing out the promotional material for the film. With this poster, this brings out print promotions to a grand total of four (the header image above, the two images, and now this poster). So if you are tired of photos and are just itching to see a trailer for the film, then you’re in luck, because the first trailer for the Red Dawn remake premieres tomorrow.

New ‘Dark Knight Rises’ Posters Forecast Stormy Weather

Yesterday saw the release of a burning and crumbling Gotham City poster for Christopher Nolan‘s The Dark Knight Rises. Normally this would be a call for celebration as it has been a few months since we saw the release of a poster for the film. But due the horrible photoshop work – which combined the teaser poster and a promo image of Batman from The Dark Knight – fans thrashed Warner Bros for their sloppy release. There’s even an animated gif that proves just how easy it is to recreate the poster that was released yesterday.
Now that Warner Bros has seen the reaction of what horribly done posters can do, they released six brand new posters, featuring Batman, Catwoman, and Bane braving inclement weather. Check out all six of these posters below.

Check Out The New ‘The Bourne Legacy’ Poster and Teaser Trailer

Universal Pictures has released a new poster and teaser trailer for their upcoming super-spy sequel The Bourne Legacy. You can check them both out here below.
The gritty, globe-trotting action franchise inspired by the novels of the late Robert Ludlum seemed to have wrapped up with 2007’s The Bourne Ultimatum, which was star Matt Damon and director Paul Greengrass’ farewell to the series that made them both household names in Hollywood. But never underestimate a studio’s willingness to exploit a viable cash cow for every penny its worth.

Check Out The New Poster For HBO’s ‘Game Of Thrones’
|
 |

HBO has released a new poster for their upcoming series A Game of Thrones. See it here below.
The poster shows Eddard Stark (Sean Bean) sitting on the Iron Throne, a throne the book describes as being designed to be as uncomfortable as possible, because no ruler should ever sit comfortably. This is just the next step in advertising as HBO prepares to launch what may be one of the most anticipated new shows in years, and I’m sure we will be seeing much more as we approach the show’s April 17, 2011 premiere date.
If you haven’t watched the trailer yet, give it a look. The series follows the dealings of the Stark clan as they try to survive the political intrigue of a medieval style court of a land called Westeros. Eddard Stark is chosen to be the new advisor for the King (Mark Addy) and now he and his family must deal with a host of different forces trying to steal power. The show is based on the novels by George R.R. Martin, of which four have been released, with the fifth book set for release later this year.

HBO Sucks You In With ‘True Blood’ Season 3 Promos Galore!

The first and second seasons of HBO’s hit vampire show True Blood came and went relatively quickly (or so it felt), but it’s been a bit of a wait for the debut of the third season.
With the show set to return on June 13, 2010, the network has begun releasing many little tease promos to start getting fans ready for another wild adventure in their world of werewolves, shapeshifters, mythological beings, and of course, all of those vampires who prefer slaughter over sparkle.
So far, three posters have been released along with some small preview videos, one of which you can see below and the rest can be seen at the HBO True Blood homepage. A new poster will be released every week leading up to the season 3 premier, which will equal 12 posters in total.
Click over to see the short video (which I think might actually be a couple of months old, but new to me!) and three True Blood Season 3 teaser posters.
