| Official Video For Céline Dion’s “Ashes” From The ‘Deadpool 2’ Motion Picture Soundtrack
I…I did not expect to write that headline today. Or any day, for that matter. But yes indeed, an official video has been released for Céline Dion‘s new song “Ashes,” which appears on the Deadpool 2 motion picture soundtrack. The video features Dion performing the song on a stage, joined by a Deadpool in heels dancing along to the tune. You can check it out below, along with a couple of bonus treats in a new Deadpool 2 IMAX image and a video of Ryan Reynolds in his Deadpool gear interrupting a video that longtime Wolverine Hugh Jackman was trying to record.

| Remembering Musician Bob Dorough’s ‘Schoolhouse Rock!’ Legacy
Multi-faceted and talented musician and composer Bob Dorough passed away last week. The 94-year-old is best remembered for his southern fried twangy voice on those superbly memorably catchy three-minute Schoolhouse Rock! songs, which taught generations how to do Math, English, Science, and History correctly with a verve and moxie that not only permeates throughout the songs, but also to this very day. For many who were kids in the early 1970s, Schoolhouse Rock! was unlike any other program before or since. It became a Saturday Morning Television staple for over two decades. In terms of its look, the design, flavor, and direction, which was mired in a kind of urban meets suburban feel, the cartoon was pioneering alone. But it was the music that really sent it over the top, making it the now legendary and seminal program in the history of the medium educating children that Schoolhouse Rock! remains.

| Remembering The Late Great Guitarist Rory Gallagher For His 70th Birthday
This month saw the 70th birthday of the late Rory Gallagher, who quite possibly remains one of the greatest guitar players who ever lived, and who most of today’s generation probably never heard of. Born on March 2, 1948, the late Irishman’s down to earth appearance and aw-shucks (in the best way possible) demeanor and attitude almost masked a musical talent that literally and not arguably sometimes stood toe to toe with other heavyweights of the craft like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and Jimmy Page, all of whom sang his praises and were in complete awe of his talents, like millions around the globe. And yet, there still remains a kind of ambiguity and mystery about who the man was if one asks the John Q guitar playing public.
