Disney Animation won’t be releasing any projects this year, but they are currently hard at work getting ready for the release of Zootopia. The film comes from directors Byron Howard (Tangled, Bolt) and Rich Moore (Wreck-It Ralph, The Simpsons), and co-director Jared Bush (Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero). The movie gives the idea of modern crime an animalistic and animated twist. We saw a small tease of the film’s progress at the last D23 Expo, and now new concept art has been unveiled that gives us a better picture of the setting. Hit the jump for more.

Though it might seem like the Internet is abuzz all the time with either Star Wars: The Force Awakens or Avengers: Age Of Ultron, two very highly anticipated movies of 2015, but there’s also another tiny film coming this year that’s quickly catching everyone’s attention — Marvel’s Ant-Man, the recently released first trailer of which reportedly has surpassed over 29 million global views. Marvel isn’t holding back with Ant-Man, with new images from the film coming quite frequently. There’s lots of Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man and Michael Douglas as his mentor Hank Pym, as well as the recent reveal of Corey Stoll as Darren Cross and his alter-ego, the villainous Yellowjacket. Marvel has posted more concept art from the film, along with a new behind-the scenes still. Also, there’s now hi-res versions of the previously released photos from EW. View all the images in the gallery here below.

| Neill Blomkamp Reveals Concept Art For Abandoned ‘Alien’ Project |
Director Neill Blomkamp posted some gorgeous concept art to his Instagram page yesterday of an Alien project that he had been working on, but seems to have now abandoned. The Elysium director posted 10 pieces of concept art with descriptions, noting on the first piece of a xenomorph, “Was working on this. Don’t think I am anymore. Love it though. #alien #xenomorph” On another post, he said, “Woulda rocked. Was a mental stroll into the world Ridley Scott created.” There’s art for the Weyland Yutani headquarters, Ripley — one of which has her wearing the space jockey head gear — Hicks, the alien egg, the Facehugger, and more. But, with the last piece of concept art, Blomkamp, who’s next film is the lighthearted scifi film Chappie (due out on March 6, 2015), he wrote “….maybe I’ll go back to it ….love the world.” Check out here below the concept art for Blomkamp’s Alien project that would have been (and maybe still will be!).
