Could Djimon Hounsou be the person to save DC films? It sure does seem like it. The actor, who has already signed on to play an ancient wizard in Shazam! who gives Billy Batson his powers, will also appear in Aquaman. Although, not as the Wizard, but as the Fisherman King. And now, we are getting our first look at the character in a recently released image. | New ‘Venom’ Image: Tom Hardy’s Title Character Gives Us A Toothy Grin
Here’s a new image you might want to sink your teeth into. Just ahead of its panel at San Diego Comic-Con, Sony has dropped new images from Venom, their first Spider-Man-Less spinoff. While many have questioned if a universe full of supporting Spider-Man characters, villains, and anti-heroes can work, its titles are attracting some talent. For Venom, the talent doesn’t get any bigger than Tom Hardy, who plays the title character. Now before we get to see more from the film at SDCC this week check out the new image, along with what Hardy and director Ruben Fleischer had to say about the film, below.

| Geek Peek: First Look At ‘Godzilla: King Of The Monsters’ (Images)
A pair of images have arrived offering us our first peek at Godzilla: King of the Monsters, the much anticipated sequel to 2014’s Godzilla. The movie, which is directed by Michael Dougherty (Trick ‘r Treat, Krampus), picks up about five years after the events of the first movie—the same as the two movies themselves by the time King of the Monsters is released—at a time when the world is still understandably shocked over the insanity of actual giant monsters showing up and wreaking havoc. In addition to the images, Dougherty also shared some info on King of the Monsters including whether or not it sets up the blockbuster mega-showdown Godzilla vs. Kong. You can find it all below.

Quentin Tarantino‘s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood will take audiences back to the golden age of hippy Hollywood while also exploring Charles Manson and the murder of Sharon Tate. The director has always had an interesting perspective in telling fictionalized versions of history. So it should be very entertaining to see what kind of story he has to tell here. Production on the film started today for a 2019 summer release. And though it may be a while before we see anything substantial, photo drops should be enough to hold us over in the long run. The first of these comes from Leonardo DiCaprio, who has released an image of him and co-star Brad Pitt, in attire that befits the ’60s era. Check it out below.
