It’s 1984, the height of the Cold War. And it’s going to be up to Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) to defuse a hostile situation. But it looks like it won’t be easy for her to accomplish that task. Especially when facing off against someone like Cheetah (Kristen Wiig). We’ve known that Wonder Woman 1984 will take place during the ’80s, with the Cold War having a role in the film. But we will also see another familiar Wonder Woman villain. Wiig’s Cheetah looks to be one of the more developed DCEU villains. That’s because the timid archaeologist is about to be cursed with dark powers that turns her into one of Diana’s greatest foes. And now the first image of Wiig in the film has been released, which you can see below.

Production on IT: Chapter Two has officially begun. Ever since the first film was a hit, Warner Bros. has fast-tracked a sequel which would give the horror film a conclusion and bring an end to our fear of clowns – like that will ever happen. So to celebrate such an occasion, James McAvoy, who will play the adult version of Bill Denbrough, has released a new pun-tastic photo that brings in a few laughs at the expense of Derry, Maine. Production on Wonder Woman 1984 has finally begun. While we could go on and on about how Wonder Woman is one of the only decent film in the DCEU (actually it’s the only good one), you don’t care about that. It’s the headline. Yes, Chris Pine is back. So while the other Chrises are playing in the Marvel sandbox, it looks like Pine has found a way to come back to DC’s. Only now we should get ready for parachute pants, frizzy hair, and pilot jumpsuits. Check out the image below.

It is going to be interesting to see where the Marvel Cinematic Universe goes from here after the fallout of Avengers: Infinity War. But one thing is for sure, Ant-Man and the Wasp will be the kind of uplifting comedy we need to see after Infinity War‘s incredibly sad ending.
