| ‘Game Of Thrones’ Fans Will Be Able To Visit Westeros Next Year
If you’ve ever been sitting on your couch watching Game of Thrones and thought to yourself “Gee, I sure wish I could visit Westeros,” well, I’m not quite sure why you would want to. People are murdered there, like all the time. It’s not safe at all. Nevertheless, you’re going to have the opportunity to do just that next year. As close as you can get to being able to visit a fictional location, anyway. And this visit will be much less dangerous. HBO is teaming up with Linen Mill Studios—the studios used for filming many of the series’ memorable scenes—to create a studio tour experience which will transport fans to Westeros and also Essos. The studio tour will give fans the opportunity to walk onto actual sets for various locations from the show, as well as see authentic props and costumes. You can find much more information and see some concept images below.
