The cast of Star Wars: Episode VII is already impressive. The fact that they have added Lupita Nyong’o and Gwendoline Christie shows just how diverse the film will be. But it doesn’t look like J.J. Abrams is done with the casting phase, as is usually the case with all films that are this early in the production stages. According to reports, Simon Pegg was spotted on set in Abu Dhabi. Because of this, some think he might have a secret role in the film, albeit a very small one. But considering that this is a rumor, we should take this report with a grain of salt. Kevin Smith is probably the closest person to the production of the now officially titled Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, without actually being involved in it, thanks in part to his friendship with Ben Affleck. He was one of the few who got to see the new Batsuit before Zack Snyder tweeted it out to the public a few weeks ago. He hints that Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice actually sets up not one, not two, not three or four, but a five or maybe six-part Justice League film. Hit the jump to read what he said.

Jean-Claude Van Damme gave a fantastic performance in The Expendables 2 as the aptly named Jean Vilain though, for reasons we’ll leave vague here on the off chance you haven’t seen the film yet, he would not be able to return for a future installment. With JCVD, much like the rest of the 80s and 90s action superstars currently enjoying a bit of a renaissance, it’s a shame we won’t be able to see him take on Sly Stallone and the rest of the crew again. Or could we? Van Damme has openly expressed his desire and willingness to return to the franchise, along with a bit of a potential teaser that could bring the muscles from Brussels back for more van damage. Check out what he had to say here after the jump!

| Is A New ‘Matrix’ Trilogy On The Way? If So, It Could Be A Prequel
Do you want to see more of The Matrix universe? Well, you just might, as rumor has it now that the Wachowski siblings have started writing a new Matrix trilogy for Warner Bros. Latino Review has the scoop that the Wachowskis “have already started the writing process with early treatments and outlines already turned into the studio,” but there is no word yet if they’ll direct. As far as the new film trilogy’s story goes, it looks like it could be a prequel to The Matrix, as one early outline reportedly deals with the birth of the Matrix and the studio might want to “explore that early world.”
