| Rumor For Your Thoughts: Matt Damon, Morgan Freeman, Kevin Costner To Join Tom Cruise In ‘Magnificent Seven’ |

Sometimes a rumor enters your eyespace that you feel has to be made up by someone who has far too much time on their hands and wanted to score some easy traffic for their site. Those are the rumors you scoff at and ignore, mumbling something no one will ever hear you say as you move on to other more reliable news sources. Then there’s the times where those rumors surface, and, no matter how fabricated they feel, must be shared with you the masses. Last month we were surprised to find out that MGM (who’s trying to make a big comeback from near death with multiple remakes) was developing a new remake of the western classic (and remake in its own right of Akira Kurosawa’s Seven Samurai), The Magnificent Seven with Tom Cruise attached to star. That’s still as far as accurate details about the movie go, but a shiny new rumor has a trio of actors in line to join the cast that would force you to pay attention to the movie.

| Netflix In Early Talks With CBS About ‘Jericho’ Season 3; Is It ‘Firefly’s Turn Yet?
Netflix is making a little hobby out of at least inquiring into bringing back popular shows that have been canceled. It’s been a while since we’ve had a pure Dalek episode of Doctor Who, the previous being Victory Of The Daleks from Series 5 in 2010. As hinted in the recent teaser trailer for Series 7, the Daleks are coming back, and this time (according to rumor) they’re kicking off the season with episode one. But the last time the Daleks had their own episode, a new archetype was revealed – a new design that wasn’t universally welcomed by fans – some scoffing at them as iDaleks or Power Ranger Daleks. Personally, I didn’t mind the new versions, but that’s hardly the point here. So the question is, which Daleks will be in this upcoming episode?

It seems that as soon as filming hits the ground for Doctor Who that the gossip floodgates open for the series. I’ve heard some doozies in my time, but this one (if real) would actually be quite interesting. Express.co.uk and Radio Times are reporting of rumors that Benedict Cumberbatch from Sherlock (and the forthcoming Star Trek 2 and The Hobbit) could have landed the role as The Master for the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who. Because Cumberbatch is celebrated for his Holmes role in “that other” Steven Moffat series, his name has popped up in the past as potentially appearing on Doctor Who.
