Hold on to your horses guys, don’t count your eggs before they hatch, apparently. Over the weekend, rumors arose connecting none other than Harrison Ford to the upcoming remake/reboot of his classic Ridley Scott film, Blade Runner. Scott is once again directing this film, so while the rumor seemed valid, one couldn’t help but think that the volatile relationship between the two would keep this from actually happening. And now, that appears to actually be the case. Deadline reports that Alcon Entertainment has debunked the rumor, one that literally lit the internet ablaze during Super Bowl weekend, basically stating that “there has been no discussion about it.”

Back in March 2011, Alcon Entertainment announced that they had obtained the rights to make both prequels and sequels to the 1982 Ridley Scott science fiction classic film, Blade Runner. In August 2011, the news broke that Scott had signed on to return to helm the next film, which Alcon stated they wanted to be completely original from the first Blade Runner movie. Now, Twitch Film is reporting that actor Harrison Ford, who starred in the original Blade Runner, is in early talks to be in the new film.

| Tim Burton Chats ‘Beetlejuice 2’ Status
Beetlejuice 2 hasn’t yet been greenlighted by anyone, and while some may be intrigued by the prospect (I won’t lie, I’m pretty curious) many folks probably don’t ever want to see it happen. Nevertheless, those involved with the movie seem to be high on the idea of doing a follow-up. Back in June of 2010, it was revealed that both Geena Davis and Michael Keaton would be happy to return to the roles they played in the 1988 original, and now the man behind said original, Tim Burton, is also talking about the possibility of seeing a sequel happen.

| Is ‘Avatar 2’ Being Pushed Back To 2016 Or Staying In 2014?
Some quarreling reports have made their way out into the world about the potential release window for James Cameron‘s sequel to the biggest movie ever made, Avatar. Back in October of 2010 we found out that the plan appeared to be to shoot Avatar 2 and Avatar 3 back-to-back, and release them in the years 2014 and 2015, respectively. Now, according to sources, we might not even see the first sequel until the year 2016.

| ‘Six Million Dollar Man’ Heads To Theaters. Better. Stronger. Singer? |

Bryan Singer is rumored to be in talks to direct a theatrical version of the classic television series, The Six Million Dollar Man, Latino Review is reporting. Singer’s name, as of late, has been attached to a number of 1970’s TV shows making the jump to the big screen including Logan’s Run and Battlestar Galactica. This is the first time that an actor has also been attached to one of these rumored projects, as it’s being reported that both Singer and producer Harvey Weinstein have had talks with Leonardo DiCaprio about starring as astronaut Steve Austin.
