Back at San Diego Comic-Con 2019 we saw a behind the scenes featurette for Terminator: Dark Fate which made it seem like the franchise was finally returning to its R-rated roots. But we’ve been told such things before. Way back in 2008 when the fourth entry in the franchise, Terminator Salvation, was on the way, director McG told us that he had been given the blessing to deliver an R-rated movie, but ultimately it ended up being PG-13. And of course, we all know about Terminator Genisys.

But now it’s official: the next Terminator movie has been rated R by the MPAA. It is the first to be given the honor since the third entry in the series, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. And to mark the occasion, a NSFW extended red band TV spot has been released to show off a little of that R-rated goodness. You can check it out below.

Back in September when we were watching trailers for Haunt and The Furies and gearing up for Shudder’s stellar October lineup, we mentioned that they were also teasing a special treat that many were hoping would end up being a Halloween special for The Last Drive-In thanks to a tweet from Joe Bob Briggs himself.

We’ve had a 24-hour marathon with Joe Bob. Thanksgiving and Christmas specials. And those even led to a weekly series which has a season two coming next year. But one thing this celebration of horror has not yet had is its very own Halloween special. This week, hopes became a reality as Shudder confirmed Joe Bob’s Halloween Hootenanny is coming this month. A new trailer has been released for Marvel’s Avengers, the upcoming video game developed by Crystal Dynamics, in collaboration with Eidos-Montréal, Nixxes Software, and Crystal Northwest, and published by Square Enix.

The new trailer introduces Kamala Khan as a playable character, after we briefly saw her in the 19-minute gameplay video. In the comics, Khan was the fourth to assume the title of Ms. Marvel. Captain Marvel herself, Carol Danvers, was the first.

Warner Bros. has released a featurette for Doctor Sleep, an adaptation of Stephen King‘s sequel to The Shining starring Ewan McGregor as a grown up Danny Torrance.

The featurette includes clips from the movie, paired with writer and director Mike Flanagan, McGregor, and King himself sharing their thoughts on the story and the sequel. You can check out the video below along with a lengthy synopsis.

Netflix has released a blooper reel video for their recent series The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, a prequel to Jim Henson‘s 1982 classic The Dark Crystal.

The video is a little under three minutes of puppets, their puppeteers, and cameramen singing, dancing, screaming, and more. You can check out the Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance blooper reel below.
