Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind director Michel Gondry recently directed a Christmas commercial titled “Moz the Monster” for the United Kingdom department store chain John Lewis.

In the holiday ad a young boy deals with a monster living under his bed, as monsters are known to do, set to a cover of The Beatles’ “Golden Slumbers.” You can check it out below.

Earlier this year anyone who hadn’t yet given The Elder Scrolls Online a try yet had the opportunity to do so for free for an entire week. Now, in celebration of hitting the 10 million total players milestone, the game is being opened up for another weeklong free trial.

Starting today, players on PlayStation 4, PC, and Mac can dive into the MMO set within Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls world without paying a single coin. Unfortunately, unlike the above mentioned free trial, this one does not appear to be open to Xbox One players for whatever reason.

If you’re a fan of the original Jumanji and its spiritual sequel Zathura, and are anxiously awaiting the upcoming sequel Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, you might just be able to see the movie 12 days before everyone else.

Amazon has announced a promotion available exclusively to members of Amazon Prime in which they’ll have the opportunity to purchase tickets to an early screening of the Jumanji sequel. The early screening will run in over 1,000 theaters, but only on one day at one time.

Things have not gone well early on for Universal’s much-hyped shared world featuring their classic monsters, called the Dark Universe. Their first movie, The Mummy, was released earlier this year. Instead of focusing on what made Universal’s monster movies so great, the horror and tone, they instead opted for an action-heavy, CGI-tainted style. The movie quickly became a financial and critical failure. To make matters worse, the talent Universal had hired to manage this ambitious endeavor began departing, and the future of the Dark Universe was already a big question mark.

But it’s still early. Universal still has time to right the ship if they so choose. And one name fans of the original monster movies believe would be perfect to help steer things away from guaranteed death is none other than Guillermo del Toro (The Devil’s Backbone, Pan’s Labyrinth, Crimson Peak).
