So far, on Crisis on Earth-X, all of the heroes and legends converged on Central City to attend the wedding of Barry and Iris (Grant Gustin, Candice Patton). Of course, happiness can’t happen without hitches and glitches, so Nazis invaded the ceremony, led by evil Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell), evil Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), and the original Eobard Thawne wearing a Wells (Tom Cavanagh) face. They came from Earth-X, the 53rd earth where the Nazis won WWII. The plan? Save dying evil Supergirl by taking the heart of our Kara. Some cool battles ensued, but our heroes were left in a Nazi prison at the end of Arrow last night. Spoilers below.

| Disney and Fox May Still Be Discussing Acquisition Deal |

When there was word that Disney was entertaining the idea of buying out the 20th Century Fox film and TV properties, fans got excited at the idea that X-Men and Fantastic Four could finally come into the MCU fold. Avatar land made more sense, too. And the idea that Disney could possibly release more mature material under the Fox banner became a possibility. But as soon as that news broke, the deal was off. Now it appears that the deal may not be as dead as we first thought. There are reports that X-Men producer Lauren Shuler Donner is becoming one of the key players to make this deal happen. | ‘American Gods’: Showrunners Bryan Fuller, Michael Green Depart Starz Series
Things have gone great for the Starz TV series adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s book American Gods thus far. The show premiered this past April to critical acclaim, and within a couple of weeks of debuting a season two had been given the greenlight. The complete first season arrived on Blu-ray and DVD last month, and season two is expected to arrive sometime next year. But things weren’t always so good with American Gods. The series was in development for many years, including at HBO, who ultimately decided to pass on it before the project eventually landed at Starz the following year. Just as things got much better then, it was only a matter of time before some bad news. And today, that bad news arrives at our doors. It’s being reported that creators and showrunners Bryan Fuller (Hannibal, Pushing Daisies) and Michael Green (Logan, Blade Runner 2049) have decided to depart from the series.

| Disney’s Live-Action ‘Mulan’ Finds Actress To Play Title Role |

Disney has reinvigorated their live-action division by taking some of their classic animated titles and turning them into live-action films. It’s a model that has proven to be very lucrative for the franchise as they release one hit after another, with their most recent hit, Beauty and the Beast grossing $1.2 billion worldwide. The studio is well into the development of live-action adaptations like Aladdin, Dumbo, and Mulan, which has now found its lead star. According to new reports, Chinese actress Liu Yifei, also known as Crystal Liu, will play Mulan in the live-action adaptation set to be directed by Niki Caro. More on the story below.
