The psychedelic horror game We Happy Few finally has a release date locked in.

The game is set in a trippy alternative 1960s London, in the town of Wellington Wells, where the residents are all heavily drugged in order to go about their day happily. As the player, you must find a way to blend in with the other residents, who will quickly turn hostile on you if they discover you’re not one of them.

We are just hours away from the premiere of Netflix’s The Defenders, the Marvel superhero ensemble of the streaming service. In the four years since the collaboration started, we’ve seen Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Iron Fist (Finn Jones) get their own series.

And while we’ve known that this moment was going to arrive, the evil force that will bring our heroes together still remains a mystery. 20th Century Fox has announced new collectible box set releases for two Joss Whedon fan favorites, Firefly and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The releases come in celebration of Firefly‘s 15th anniversary, and Buffy‘s 20th anniversary.

Three new actors have joined the cast of The Haunting of Hill House, the upcoming Netflix series based on Shirley Jackson‘s 1959 novel of the same name. The series comes from Oculus, Hush, Absentia, and Ouija: Origin of Evil director Mike Flanagan, Steven Spielberg‘s Amblin TV, and Paramount Television.

Boarding the project is Henry Thomas, Elizabeth Reaser, and Kate Siegel. They join the previously cast Carla Gugino (Sin City, San Andreas) and Michiel Huisman (Game of Thrones, Treme).

Tell me if you haven’t heard this one before. Ben Affleck says he is dissatisfied with being the Batman in the DCEU and then backtracks on those comments. Then rumors of Affleck’s unhappiness appear once more only for him to “squash” them at SDCC.
