Peter Rabbit is easily one of the most memorable pieces of children literature to ever be released. Since its publication back in 1902, five subsequent books were then released between 1904 and 1912. The rest is, as they say, history. Merchandise and adaptations would soon follow, thus continuing the success of the franchise. Now, the title character is about to get the big-screen treatment from Sony Animation Pictures. A new report says The Late Late Show host James Corden, Star Wars: The Force Awakens star Daisy Ridley, and Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 star Elizabeth Debecki will star in the live-action animation hybrid of Peter Rabbit. Rose Bryne will also have a role in the film. More on the story below.

Though Astro Boy‘s 2009 animated adaptation didn’t create a new fanbase, the franchise remains popular. Now the titular character will get another opportunity to have that new fan base with the upcoming live-action adaptation from Animal Logic, the same studio that gave us the 2014 hit The LEGO Movie.
