| Zack Snyder Has Heart Set Out On Finding Batman’s Love Interest For ‘Man Of Steel’ Sequel
Given that Superman (Henry Cavill) developed a romantic interest with Lois Lane (Amy Adams), the hero created a less than super and more human identity to get closer to her. Now that Batman is in the picture in the Man of Steel sequel, and Ben Affleck is confirmed to play an older version of the Caped Crusader, it is assumed that Bruce Wayne would be vying for Lois’ attention. But a casting call reveals quite the opposite. Latino Review is reporting that Batman/Bruce Wayne will have his own love interest in the sequel, giving us a slight indication that this movie is actually bigger than we originally thought. | Rumor: ‘Breaking Bad’ Star Bryan Cranston To Play Lex Luthor In ‘Batman vs. Superman’
Rumors have been swirling for weeks now about the casting of Lex Luthor in the upcoming Man Of Steel sequel, the much-talked-about Batman vs. Superman, for which Ben Affleck was just controversially cast as the Caped Crusader. Names like Mark Strong and Bryan Cranston have been floating around for the Superman nemesis, which quite possibly might just be wishful thinking on the part of a very hopeful Internet. Cosmic Book News claims to have exclusively learned that Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston has been cast as Lex Luthor and has signed on for a multi-film deal to make at least six “appearances,” similar to how Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury shows throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

According to Variety, Warner Brothers has their new Dark Knight – and it will be Ben Affleck. The “bomb in Phantoms yo” is to replace Christian Bale in the franchise, and will co-star alongside Henry Cavill as in the upcoming Batman vs. Superman crossover film slated as the direct sequel to Man Of Steel. I’m surprised at this revelation. First off, I’ve never been able to picture Affleck as Bruce Wayne, much less Batman – his demeanor really doesn’t fit the characterization. That being said, Affleck has shown to be adaptable in some of his movies, so this might be an interesting result.
