
Usually when a new Call of Duty game and a new Battlefield game are coming out, the two franchises battle for the title of best military shooter. Each has a new game coming out this year, but the two don’t feel nearly as similar as they once were.
Call of Duty remains in the military shooter category, though in a decidedly more futuristic, somewhat sci-fi setting with their latest, Advanced Warfare, while Battlefield: Hardline picks up and moves itself to the land of cops versus bad guys.
