One of the series in development after Netflix’s acquisition of Mark Millar‘s company Millarworld is Jupiter’s Legacy, a superhero epic. Daredevil and Spartacus showrunner Steven S. DeKnight takes on the same role for this series, and now a bunch of castings have been announced. They include Josh Duhamel, Leslie Bibb, Ben Daniels, and more. “If we can give a couple people nightmares, I’ll go to bed a happy man.” – Writer Jeremy Slater The Exorcist is the latest classic horror film to make the move to the small screen, following the like of Psycho (Bates Motel), Scream, and The Omen (Damien). The show set in Chicago, stars Academy Award winner Geena Davis as Angela Rance, a woman convinced her family, specifically her daughter Casey (Hannah Kasulka) are beset by a demon. As in the film, a pair of priests, one young, one old come to the aid of the family. Check out the video below.

| SDCC 2016: Trailer For ‘The Exorcist’ TV Series On FOX
The Exorcist is universally recognized as one of the greatest horror movies of all time. It sent shockwaves through the industry in the early 70s and was nominated for 10 Academy Awards. Following in the footsteps of other classic horror films with TV counterparts, like Silence of the Lambs (Hannibal), Psycho (Bates Motel), and The Omen (Damien), The Exorcist is coming to the small screen, debuting on FOX this Fall. The film had moviegoers running for the exits and losing their lunches. Hopefully, they can replicate the horror on network television. FOX released a trailer especially for San Diego Comic Con, which you can watch here below.

| Check Out Teasers From Fox’s ‘The Exorcist’
Taking classic horror films and turning them into network TV series is the trendy thing nowadays. In some cases it has worked tremendously, as with AMC’s take on Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho, Bates Motel. In other cases, not so much as Damien (based on the 1976 film The Omen) failed to gain an audience despite following Bates Motel on A&E and was cancelled after one season. FOX is jumping in with perhaps the biggest gamble on adapting a horror staple to the small screen, with The Exorcist coming this fall. Check out the teasers below.

After being somewhat evasive about the Doctor Who topic on everyone’s mind at SDCC recently, Steven Moffat and the BBC have unveiled that they will be announcing the next actor to portray the next incarnation of the Doctor in an unprecedented live event to be shown on television across the world. In the UK, the announcement will be screened on BBC One on Sunday, August 4 at 7:00 PM; while U.S. fans will get the live broadcast at 2:00 PM EST on Sunday, August 4 on BBC America. If you’re unable to tune in, Geeks of Doom will be publishing the big reveal once the announcement is made; which will be followed by a special episode of the TARDISblend in which we will be discussing the new Doctor, as well as some of the other news and rumors that have been making the rounds.
