| A Little ‘Fifth Element’ Spoof ‘Futurama’ Style For Your Viewing Pleasure
What’s the greatest thing in the world during the holiday season time period when absolutely no exciting news is being reported? Well, a super-duper new fan made piece of art work in which some of the beloved and soon-to-be-returning characters of the ultra-popular animated series Futurama are used in a spoof of the also-popular science fiction film, The Fifth Element…naturally! The image takes the lead Bruce Willis character and replaces him with Philip J. Fry; the Milla Jovovich character and replaces her with Amy Wong; and the Chris Tucker character is replaced by Professor Hubert Farnsworth. Lesser bits of the movie like the singing blue chick are replaced by Leela…and yes, Bender does make a cameo. Click on over to the other side to check out the image; click to go big, big, big.

| See Bruce Willis & Tracy Morgan In The Trailer For Kevin Smith’s ‘Cop Out’ |
 |

The brand new first teaser trailer for Kevin Smith‘s Cop Out has been officially released on Apple (head there for HD!). The movie is one with an interesting bunch of sub-plots that have nothing to do with the actual film. For starters: the movie was known for a long time as A Couple of Dicks; a title most people enjoyed, but which Warner Brothers dubbed too edgy, and had changed to the rather fitting Cop Out. Secondly: this is the first movie that Smith did not write and produce as well. He was hired to simply direct the film, and that is all. Even though this took Smith away from his normal comfortable world, the hope is that with stars like Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan playing off of each other, a comedy success can be achieved. I’m a big Kevin Smith fan and haven’t met a movie of his that I didn’t love yet…not one. And while we don’t yet know if Cop Out will end up playing really well or very badly, I must say it: you can definitely tell this flick wasn’t written by Smith just by viewing the trailer. Whether you love him like I do or despise his work, the Clerks, Dogma, and Zack and Miri Make a Porno writer/director/producer is known for his writing skills and tremendous attention to dialogue quality. That relentless and witty dialogue would appear to be completely vacant here, and that would be my first concern.

| Bruce Willis Confirmed For ‘Kane & Lynch’; Director & Production Start Date Info Shared |
 |

In a recent interview with GameDaily, Hollywood producer Adrian Askarieh talked video game movies in great detail. On the list, he spoke on big projects like Kane & Lynch: Dead Men, Hitman 2, and Just Cause — all of which have movies in the works. From the very second that a Kane & Lynch movie was announced, superstar Bruce Willis was rumored to be up for one of the starring roles. It’s been a long time since these rumors started swirling, but staying nice and chaos free, Askarieh confirmed in this interview that Willis is indeed attached and confirmed for the movie, and that he will be playing Kane (the one on the left) of the duo. He also confirmed that the movie will be directed by Simon Crane, who is mostly known for his stunt work, but who has also done a lot of Second Unit Directing and Assistant Directing. It will finally begin production in March of 2010, which is still a long ways off, but considering this thing has been coming for years now, it’s good to have an actual date. Lionsgate will be handling the distribution, and Millennium is financing it.

| Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger & Sylvester Stallone To Appear On Screen Together In ‘The Expendables’ |

The Expendables could quite possibly be one of the really special movie projects that we see in the near future. Written, directed, and starring Sylvester Stallone, the movie has attempted to gather pretty much every massive action star and put them all in one film. We still don’t know exactly what kind of movie it will be, but it sounds like it’s going to be pure, full-speed action with no rules — at least that’s how it feels like it should be done. While he wasn’t able to get all of them (Jean Claude Van Damme), he has put together one of the best action casts ever seen, and it has folks very excited to see what comes of it all. Now comes word that two of the biggest action stars ever to live will be filming a small cameo for the movie with Stallone: Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Willis spoke to MTV News recently about if he’s filmed the “very special” cameo and what it might involve.
