| Fathom Events: Luc Besson’s ‘The Fifth Element’ Returning To Theaters
I remember like it was yesterday: 15 years old, seeing a trio of films at my local theater twenty years ago. This particular day the trip consisted of Anaconda, Austin Powers, and my favorite of the three, Luc Besson‘s original space saga, The Fifth Element. Now, two decades later Besson wrote and directed another new space adventure, Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, and to get crowds ready, The Fifth Element is returning to theaters thanks to Fathom Events and Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

Whenever a conversation arises about “best movie ever,” there is usually a massive debate. You get your Citizen Kane fans, your Godfather followers, and some usual suspects who prefer Casablanca. But when the discussion narrows to “best action movie ever” there is usually little debate. The overwhelming favorite is… Die Hard. But more than that, it may also be the best Christmas movie of all time! And it’s within this context that my personal choice for Greatest Action Movie Ever, gets the final Honest Trailer of 2015. | ‘Die Hard: Year One’ Could Be Both A Prequel and Sequel To The Original
It was inevitable. A sixth Die Hard has officially entered the development stage over at 20th Century Fox. Bruce Willis will be returning for another go-around as heroic New York cop John McClane, an ordinary guy who always finds himself embroiled in extraordinary situations that usually involve a high body count and billions of dollars in property damage. Len Wiseman, who directed 2007’s Live Free or Die Hard, is in negotiations with the studio to return to the franchise. Lorenzo di Bonaventura will serve as producer.

| Happy 20th Anniversary To Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Pulp Fiction’Pulp Fiction, one of the most audacious, intense, electrifying, and unpredictable films ever made just celebrated its 20th Anniversary. For sure, the film remains one of the wildest rides ever committed to celluloid, an absolute passion project and one that looks as if it was done with great ease by latter-day maverick director Quentin Tarantino (who also scripted the film with Roger Avary, both winning an Oscar for their work), and it’s a film of unconscious narrative, which has a road as slick and wet as driving in a hurricane down a slippery slope, and brimming with spontaneous abandon.
