| Daniel Craig In Negotiations To Replace Robert Downey Jr. In ‘Cowboys & Aliens’
Back in September we discovered that Jon Favreau may be working with his Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr. again soon when he became a candidate to direct a movie based on the Scott Mitchell Rosenberg graphic novel, Cowboys & Aliens. Since then, Favreau has officially become the director, but unfortunately, Downey Jr. actually had to drop out of the project this past Monday. Now comes word via a scoop by Collider that Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace‘s James Bond, Daniel Craig, is now in negotiations to take on the role of Zeke Jackson that Downey Jr. vacated. Cowboys & Aliens isn’t the most recognizable title in the world of graphic novels, but its premise sounds to be highly entertaining. It takes place in Silver City, Arizona sometime in the 1800s where the Cowboys and Indians are fighting it out as we all know they did, but this particular location is about to have a bit of a twist.

| Jon Favreau, Robert Downey Jr. May Re-Team For ‘Cowboys & Aliens’
A little over a year ago, it was reported that Robert Downey Jr. was attached to star in an adaptation of the Scott Mitchell Rosenberg graphic novel, Cowboys & Aliens. It appears now that his Iron Man and Iron Man 2 director Jon Favreau may be hoping to join the party as well. Nothing is official yet, but it would be a great job for anyone to land, considering the veritable powerhouse studio tag-team of DreamWorks, Universal (and possibly Paramount for distribution) and larger-than-life producing group of Brian Grazer and Ron Howard of Imagine Entertainment, as well as Steven Spielberg. Also producing is Rosenberg and Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci.

| SDCC 09: ‘Lost’ Panel Entertains; Raises New Questions [w/Spoilers] |
 |

Of all of the gigantic movie reveals that happen at the San Diego Comic-Con each year, you wouldn’t expect a TV show to steal some of the spotlight. Well, leave it up to Lost and producers Damon Lidelof and Carlton Cuse to put on a show and do just that. The duo showed up with some very interesting video clips and a little fun from a few of the show’s cast members, leaving the room fully entertained and perhaps even more curious than ever.
The panel started off with a promo for Lost University — which begins enrollment on September 22, so don’t miss out! After that, they played a few minor clips before introducing Mr. Lindelof and Mr. Cuse. The duo gave a brief intro before going into some more hilarious videos. If you hadn’t figured it out, the panel was more of a collection of fun videos and the above-mentioned interesting videos than anything. Being the last time Lost will be at Comic-Con, the producers made their panel for the fans. Among some of the videos they showed, was a comic mash-up with footage of some Lost fanatic’s crazy viewing parties, audio dialogue dubbed over the Muppet Babies, and a Brokeback Mountain spoof including Jack and Sawyer. They even did a special “In Memorium” video called “LOST but not Forgotten,” that showcased the characters that have died over the past five seasons. I’ll say this: you know a show is untouchably good when their In Memorium of a bunch of completely fictional characters still makes you sad. Click over for much more, including a few videos that will have you trying to figure out what the last season will bring (with spoilers… warning included).
