Today’s MP3 album deal of the day over at Amazon is Love At First Sting by The Scorpions for only $1.99.

For those of you who are not familiar with this German metal outfit, allow me to tell you that yes, yes are, and Love At First Sting is the album that you’d know them from, thanks to their mega-hit “Rock You Like a Hurricane.” Yup, it’s on this album, so if you want that song, this is the way to go.

Released in 1984, the entire album is filled with great tunes like “Big City Nights,” “Bad Boys Running Wild,” and the power ballad “Still Loving You.” The must-have “Still Loving You” and “Rock You Like a Hurricane” are two bucks on their own right there, which makes this deal definitely worth it.

Amazon has launched a bunch of great DVD deals to coincide with Valentine’s Day, including The Princess Bride and Groundhog Day for only $4.99 each (inconceivable! … inconceivable! … inconceivable! …).

There’s three separate noteworthy Valentine’s Day sales running right now. Here’s where I’m supposed to tell you to pick up a rom-com and snuggle up with your honey for this celebration of love … there, I said it. For those of you who aren’t into the whole love and romance thing, there’s also a “Bloody Valentine” sale with some classic horror favorites and their sequels.

Heart Pounding Romance Sale: Save up to 50% on Heart Pounding Romance Films like Overboard ($7.99), The Illusionist ($7.99), Say Anything ($7.99), Garden State ($7.99), as well as the aforementioned Princess Bride ($4.99), and more. Offer expires February 11, 2009.

Valentine’s Sale: Romantic DVDs: DVDs as low as $7.49, like 50 First Dates, Loverboy, 13 Going On 30 ($7.49), Sleepless In Seattle ($4.99), as well as the aforementioned Groundhog Day ($4.99), and more. Sale ends February 16.

In this last day of Amazon’s week of HBO DVD deals, today’s Gold Box spotlight item is Six Feet Under – The Complete Series Gift Set for $59.99 (down 67% off the original price of $179.90).

The set 25-disc set contains all five seasons of the Alan Ball heavy dramatic series, plus two bonus soundtracks, audio commentary, deleted scenes, episode previews and recaps, and several featurettes (you might recognize creator Ball’s name now for his latest HBO offering True Blood). As far as packaging goes, this one’s genius: the top of the box looks like a stone grave marker with the show’s name and years of running (2001-2005) surrounded by grass, with the rest of the box made to look like dirt. The set also comes with an exclusive illustrated booklet with character obituaries and memories from the show’s creators.

Math time: At a total of $59.99, that works out to just under $12 per season, which usually run at nearly $40 each, so this is a super savings.

For those of you not familiar with the show, it’s main selling point right now might be that it starred Michael C. Hall, known now for playing the serial killer who offs serial killers on Showtime’s Dexter. In Six Feet Under, after their father dies, two brothers must help their meek mother Ruth (Frances Conroy) by running the family business — a funeral home. Hall’s character David, who’s in the closet, is actually the good son, while prodigal son Nate (Peter Krause) returns home reluctantly to serve as co-director of the funeral home.

Continuing their week of HBO deals, today’s Gold Box spotlight deal at Amazon is Curb Your Enthusiasm: The Complete Seasons 1-6 for $82.99 (down 65% from $238.98).

If you do the math (which I typically do), you’ll that that works out to less than $14 per season as opposed to the nearly $40 list price — even with Amazon’s usual discount, each season averages around $30. Therefore, this is a huge savings and definitely worth getting if you’re a fan of the series.

For those of you not familiar with this half-hour HBO series, it stars Larry David, who co-created Seinfeld and was the basis for the George Costanza character. In Curb, David plays himself, which if you thought Costanza was outrageous, you should see the “real” Larry David. Most episodes are packed with famous actors, also playing themselves, and typically, Larry David will always put his foot in his mouth and do something extremely inappropriate. It’s funny as hell, but also so cringe-inducing, as you can’t believe some of the things he does. What makes this show really stand out is the fact that the episodes are not scripted. Each episode has a storyline, but then the actors improvise their dialogue, which is what makes the situations they’re in seem all the more real.

Comedians Cheryl Hines and Jeff Garlin (Wall-E) are in character as David’s wife and best friend, respectively, while frequent reoccurring guest stars are Richard Lewis, Ted Danson, and Wanda Sykes (all as themselves).

The spotlight MP3 deal of the week at Amazon is the classic Sex Pistols album Never Mind The Bollocks, Here’s The Sex Pistols for only $1.99! This would definitely top my list of perfect albums ever made. If you don’t already own this album, seriously, YOU MUST GET THIS. C’mon, you get 12 awesome songs for under two bucks, that’s insane! If you think you don’t know the Sex Pistols, you’re probably wrong. “God Save The Queen,” ever heard of it? No? THEN BUY THIS ALBUM FOR $1.99! Seriously, not one bad song. I own this album in every format already, but for this price, I swear I’d buy it again.

— Alice Cooper Goes To Hell ($4.97): Hailed as “one of the best albums ever made” by Dave3 of Geeks of Doom. Long before Jason went below, shock rocker Alice Cooper made the journey underworld with this classic 1976 sequel to the far more recognized Welcome To My Nightmare.

— Buffy the Vampire Slayer Once More With Feeling ($5): I’m sure very fan of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer TV series already owns this soundtrack to the infamous musical episode (#107), but for those of you still working your way through that tremendous Complete Series DVD boxset, trust me when you hit this episode in Season 6, you’re gonna want this album – so snag it now for only five bucks.

— Slumdog Millionaire Music From The Motion Picture ($5): This indie darling could just be the next Oscar-winning film come February and its soundtrack has been getting tons of praise as well. The entire album is up for an Academy Award for Best Original Score, while two of its songs were nominated for Best Original Song.

— Dokken Alone Again & Other Hits ($4.97): If you dig hair metal contenders Dokken back in the 1980s, then this is a great deal on their greatest hits. For under five bucks, you get some great tunes like “Alone Again,” “In My Dreams,” and “Breaking The Chains,” but more importantly, it comes with “Dream Warriors,” the title track from A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors! [“… don’t wanna dream no more!”]. Yes, yes, yes, a must-have, for sure.
