| ‘Aquaman’ Starts Production; New Title Card and First Set Photo Revealed
Director James Wan is stepping away from the horror genre once again. He first did it for Furious 7, which proved to be an overwhelming success. In more ways than one. Now he is ready to dive into the world of comic book movies with Aquaman. The film will see Jason Momoa reprising his role as the title character for his first standalone film. Now the film has commenced production and has marked the occasion by releasing a brand new title card and a photo from the first day of shooting. Check it out below.

| James Wan Officially Directing ‘Aquaman’
In April it was reported that Warner Brothers was looking at James Wan to direct Aquaman for them. Now it’s official, as Wan is signed on and locked in for the job. He’ll also be supervising the writing of the film’s script, which is set to be penned by Kurt Johnstad (300, 300: Rise of an Empire). Wan is best known for his work in the realms of horror, directing Saw, Dead Silence, Insidious, The Conjuring, and Insidious: Chapter 2. He’s also attached to direct the upcoming The Conjuring 2. Wan stepped away from horror last year to direct the latest installment in the Fast and the Furious franchise, Furious 7, replacing the director of the previous four movies in the franchise, Justin Lin.

| Michelle MacLaren Confirmed To Direct Wonder Woman Movie
Recently it was reported that Michelle MacLaren, a TV director who has helmed multiple episodes of shows like Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, and Breaking Bad, was the top choice of Warner Brothers to direct Wonder Woman. Just a quick update for you, as it has been confirmed that MacLaren will in fact develop and direct the movie, which centers around the super powerful Amazonian warrior princess played by Gal Gadot. The actress will first play the role in 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

| ‘Man Of Steel’ Publicity Special Gives Us Our Most Extensive Look At The Movie Yet |

In less than two weeks the moviegoing world will behold Man of Steel, and we will finally see if the very enthusiastic hype that has been building around Zack Snyder‘s much-anticipated reboot of the Superman movie franchise is worth believing.
