The Digital Wire Blu-ray/DVD Release News: Aliens, Bigfoot, Jack Nicholson, Metallica
Welcome back to another edition of The Digital Wire. For this week’s roundup of the coolest upcoming Blu-ray and DVD release news, we have a sorely neglected summer sci-fi thrill ride, an epic documentary about one of the world’s greatest heavy metal bands, a Bigfoot movie made by a stand-up comedian, a pair of obscure westerns starring a baby-faced Jack Nicholson, and an Oscar-winning comedy starring Dustin Hoffman in drag.
Below you’ll find info on several future home video releases complete with technical specs, release dates, and links to pre-order at Amazon. We would greatly appreciate it if you use those links to order because a small percentage of each order helps keep this website running at max power.

Disney Announces New Release Dates For ‘Finding Dory,’ ‘Maleficent,’ ‘The Good Dinosaur’
Today Walt Disney Pictures announced new premiere dates for several of their important future releases, including two from their blockbuster CGI animation division Pixar.
The fishy sequel Finding Dory was originally supposed to open on November 25, 2015. It has been pushed back to June 17, 2016. Dory’s old release slot has instead been given to the studio’s next original feature The Good Dinosaur, which has been delayed a year-and-a-half from its original May 30, 2014 date. Stepping into that opening slot will be Maleficent, an alternate take on the story of Sleeping Beauty told from the perspective of the story’s villain, played by Angelina Jolie. The movie will be released in 3D.
