Electronic Arts has officially announced a release window for the long-awaited next game in the Star Wars: Battlefront franchise.

While an official date has not been locked in at the moment, EA has revealed that the game will be released during the holiday season of 2015, just a little over a year from this very moment.

Over the past few weeks we’ve seen a series of strange and intriguing viral marketing teases for an upcoming BioWare and Electronic Arts game known only as the You’ve Been Chosen mystery project.

BioWare was part of EA’s presentation at Gamescom 2014 today, mainly for Dragon Age: Inquisition, but also to finally reveal what this mystery game of theirs really is. The game is officially titled Shadow Realms and it’s…probably not what you were hoping it would be.

Another teaser has been released by BioWare and EA for their mysterious You’ve Been Chosen game, which has had a bizarre and intriguing viral marketing campaign thus far.

The teaser, called “Impact,” fits in with the previous two videos (“Nightmare” and “Spark”), all being cryptic and strange. It would appear that the game could possibly be some kind of mix between X-Men and Harry Potter, where people with special abilities are chosen for something, but nothing is confirmed yet.

Subscriptions services are all the rage, and Electronic Arts wants to get in on it.

The company has announced their very own new subscription service called EA Access, which they’ve partnered with Microsoft for to make it exclusive to Xbox One. If interested, you can use Access for a fee of $4.99 per month, or you can commit to a full year for $29.99 and save big.

During the EA press conference at E3 2014 BioWare’s future was previewed, including some new looks at their highly anticipated Dragon Age: Inquisition (coming soon), Mass Effect 4, and even a brand new game.

In the video you can check out below, Mass Effect 4 is discussed first with a few teeny tiny mini-teases of the game. It’s only “conceptual prototype” footage, but enough to be excited about. Then there’s their new IP, which no one knows anything about yet but which also has a little conceptual prototype footage if you’d like to take a guess.
