| ‘Baby Driver’: New Images From Edgar Wright’s Getaway Driver Flick
There are so many reasons why you should be excited for Edgar Wright‘s (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz) Baby Driver. The movie centers on a partially deaf getaway driver (Ansel Elgort) who uses music to drown out the ringing in his ears. In the past Wright has used music in such a way where the music beats are perfectly choreographed to each action sequence. So imagine that, but with a car chase sequence. With the film hitting theaters later this year, we are now getting a very early look at the film in new images that tease more than just a car chase, but also some of the characters, like the very fashionable Jamie Foxx‘s Bats, who is wearing a very killer jacket, and an almost unrecognizable Jon Hamm. | ‘The Walking Dead’s Jon Bernthal Joins Edgar Wright’s ‘Baby Driver’
We’ve all heard of the falling out between Edgar Wright and Marvel Studios. And while it may be a slight disappointment that we never got to see Wright’s vision in the MCU, the fallout may have been a blessing in disguise as the director was free to move onto Baby Driver. Early details revealed that the film would be about Baby, a young and talented getaway mute driver who suffers from a chronic ringing in his ears. However, Baby relies on the beat of his own soundtrack. But after being coerced into working for a crime boss, he must face the music when a doomed heist threatens his life, love and freedom. Ansel Elgort, Lily James, Jamie Foxx, Jon Hamm, Kevin Spacey, and Eiza Gonzalez, are all strapped in for the movie. And now the film is going to add The Walking Dead‘s Jon Bernthal. There are also a few more plot details being revealed. Check out the full story below.

Paul Rudd stars as Scott Lang, a master thief who’s just finished a three-year stint in San Quentin prison. While his crime was more of the Robin Hood variety, his criminal record is making it very difficult for him to keep a job and make ends meet on the straight and narrow path. Motivated by his desire to be there for his young daughter’s life, Scott joins forces with former prison buddy Luis (Michael Peña) and his crew (Tip “T.I.” Harris, David Dastmalchian) for a sure-thing burglary job. Unbeknownst to Scott, the safe he’s cracking belongs to Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), the S.H.I.E.L.D. scientist who developed the shrinking technology that powers the Ant-Man suit.
