| ‘Dracula Untold’ Will Tie Into Universal Pictures’ Monster Reboot Series
Gary Shore‘s Dracula origins movie Dracula Untold, starring Luke Evans as the titular character, hits theaters on October 10, and the press has been seeing the film prior to its junket. | Trailer For Dracula Origins Movie ‘Dracula Untold’ Starring Luke Evans
The upcoming Dracula origins movie Dracula Untold has been on the way for quite a while now. Once upon a time it was called Dracula: Year Zero, with director Alex Proyas (Dark City) set behind the camera and Avatar star Sam Worthington attached to the lead role. But before the movie went into production, Universal Pictures decided the budget was too high and delayed the project. Eventually the studio found a new director in Gary Shore, making his feature debut, and a new lead actor in Worthington’s Clash of the Titans co-star Luke Evans, putting the movie back in business. Now the first trailer for Dracula Untold has been released, and, believe it or not, it actually looks pretty promising. Whether the final product will deliver remains to be seen, but for now you can check out the trailer and share your thoughts below.
