Orion Pictures has released an official trailer for Anna and the Apocalypse, which is described as a “zombie Christmas musical.” Not much else is needed than that. Off to the theater we go! In the movie a zombie apocalypse breaks out during the Christmas season, forcing high school student Anna (Ella Hunt) and her friends to fight to survive…while also stopping here and there to break out in song and dance, naturally. Separated from his companion, Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman), at the underwater mining base, the Doctor (Peter Capaldi) travels back in time on the same spot to 1980, in an effort to learn what caused the events in 2119. But the situation becomes perilous, and the Doctor will come face-to-face with The Fisher King. During TARDISblend 89, we discuss the breaking of the 4th wall in Episode 9.4 “Before The Flood” of Doctor Who, leading to the underlying theme of this story: the Bootstrap Paradox. | Trailer For Dracula Origins Movie ‘Dracula Untold’ Starring Luke Evans
The upcoming Dracula origins movie Dracula Untold has been on the way for quite a while now. Once upon a time it was called Dracula: Year Zero, with director Alex Proyas (Dark City) set behind the camera and Avatar star Sam Worthington attached to the lead role. But before the movie went into production, Universal Pictures decided the budget was too high and delayed the project. Eventually the studio found a new director in Gary Shore, making his feature debut, and a new lead actor in Worthington’s Clash of the Titans co-star Luke Evans, putting the movie back in business. Now the first trailer for Dracula Untold has been released, and, believe it or not, it actually looks pretty promising. Whether the final product will deliver remains to be seen, but for now you can check out the trailer and share your thoughts below.
