RELEASE DATE: February 18, 2014 It’s cold and dark and depressing outside as many of us fight through the dead of winter, but excitement is starting to build in the land of television as Game of Thrones begins to take over once again. It started with the first trailers and behind-the-scenes special for season four. It continues with the release of season three on Blu-ray today. And officially hits its full stride on April 6th with the start of the new season, as the show looks to continue its dominance over others as the best on TV today. The warmth of the sun is not far off now. For us anyway; we know what’s coming for Westeros. With one of the most shocking sequences of events in TV history setting the internet ablaze with reactions, memes aplenty, and much discussion, season three continued to set the bar extremely high and continued bringing new fans to the series with no signs of slowing down in sight.

| Clive Russell & Richard Brake Join ‘Thor: The Dark World’Game of Thrones director Alan Taylor will be expanding the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Thor: The Dark World. Christopher Eccleston has already been cast as film’s newest baddie, Malekith the Accursed, and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje will be there to support Eccleston. Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Natalie Portman, Kat Dennings, Idris Elba, and Anthony Hopkins will all return to reprise their respective roles. Now the sequel is getting some new additions to the cast, and while you may not immediately recognize their names, you will recognize the roles they previously played.

Release Date: November 15, 2011 This year, the BBC celebrates the 15th anniversary of fan-favorite Neil Gaiman‘s first endeavor into the world of television series. In 1996, Gaiman had established himself as a solid writer of novels and comic series, and joining forces with the phenomenal Lenny Henry, created the world of Neverwhere – an almost-unseen domain lying beneath the city of London. I may lose a little geek cred here, but prior to this year, I had limited exposure to Gaiman. I was a fan of his Alice Cooper comic for The Last Temptation CD in the 1990s, and had some mild awareness with Sandman, but that was it. Until this year: being a Doctor Who fan, it was inevitable, the Neil Gaiman-penned The Doctor’s Wife was a major highlight of the 2011 season.
