Dungeons & Dragons: Worlds & Realms: Adventures from Greyhawk to Faerûn and Beyond
Hardcover | Kindle
By Adam Lee
Publisher: Ten Speed Press
Release Date: October 29, 2024 Good day, friends. I want to preface this review with the knowledge that I spent multiple hours writing what should have been my longest review ever, only to inadvertently lose the entire thing in the saving process. I will freely admit my editor warned me to write outside of the primary posting software, a warning that I nonetheless ignored and for which I thereby paid the highest price. So, I will do my best to replicate the review, though I admit the passion I had for this particular assignment has waned. Not because of the book itself. Dungeons & Dragons: Worlds & Realms: Adventures from Greyhawk to Faerûn and Beyond is a spectacular tome of information that dragged me kicking and screaming down memory lane. So, with that said, let me begin yet again.

Dungeons & Dragons: Fizban’s Treasury Of Dragons is more than just a reference guide for dragons, it is actually a fair bit more than that, it expounds on information from a multitude of campaign settings, even binding them together into a single cohesive group. And while there are a myriad of differences between them, there are constants that hold true from one world to the next. Allow me to take you on a short tour of what to expect when we dive into a book that really brings out the dragons in Dungeons & Dragons!

Dungeons & Dragons Princes Of The Apocalypse
Hardcover
Wizards Of The Coast
Release Date: April 7, 2015
Cover Price: $49.95 Nothing could have surprised me more recently than coming home after work to find a package from Wizards Of The Coast waiting for me on my porch. And, like a toy obsessed 3-year-old, I immediately tore into my new arrival. What did I find, you ask? Well, an advanced copy of Princes Of The Apocalypse hardback Dungeons & Dragons adventure, of course. Seriously, tell me you knew that…I mean, it IS the title of this article. Anyway, I soon realized that I had a very limited amount of time to compose this review, so I hunkered down and read it non-stop, forgoing sleep and food in my quest to embrace this newest gift. Okay, maybe I slept. And I certainly ate. Don’t judge me, food is important. But I did read it, just not in one sitting.

| Dungeons & Dragons Turns 40!You read that correctly, it’s been four decades since Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson created what is arguably the greatest of all role-playing games, Dungeons & Dragons. Originally produced by TSR (Tactical Studies Rules, Inc.), the franchise was acquired by Wizards of the Coast in 1997. Both companies produced a wide variety of materials to supplement the game system, including pre-made modules, novels, trading card games, and much, much more. There are many different editions and the standard rules have changed much over the years, but throughout it all there is one common theme: fun. Because seriously, if it wasn’t fun, then why would we still be playing it 40 years later?
