| ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2’: James Gunn Refutes Bradley Cooper’s Spoilers
The identity of Star-Lord’s (Chris Pratt) father will reportedly be revealed in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. We have gotten a few hints as to who his father may be throughout the years, but director James Gunn has played coy as to who Star-Lord’s father may be. There are some who think they know who it is, and that only a few people know the answer. Although, Gunn did reveal a shortlist of possible people, let’s not take that to heart. So while the film prepares to start shooting, Bradley Cooper, who voices Rocket Raccoon, seems to have “accidentally” revealed the answer. While on a press tour for Burnt, the actor said that Thanos was Star-Lord’s father. Of course the internet was up in arms about this, and Gunn was rather quick to respond to Cooper’s revelation. | ‘Oldboy’ Actress Joins ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2’; Matthew McConaughey Turns Down Villain Role
With sequels comes new additions. It just comes with the territory. While the Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, and Vin Diesel are locked in to reprise their “a-hole” roles, with Karen Gillan back as nefarious daughter of the Mad Titan otherwise known as Thanos, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is starting to cast new faces for the upcoming space opera sequel. A new report says that Pom Klementieff (Oldboy) has signed off to appear in the film, while Matthew McConaughey has turned down the chance to appear in the sequel, leaving director James Gunn to look elsewhere. | ‘Captain Marvel’: Is Marvel Getting Nervous About Their First Female Superhero Movie? |

On Thursday, Marvel Studios made the surprising announcement that they had scheduled an Ant-Man sequel entitled Ant-Man and the Wasp to be released on the plum July 6, 2018 date that had once belonged to Black Panther, which saw its release moved up to February 16 of that year. Meanwhile, the studio’s first female-oriented feature, the cosmic adventure Captain Marvel, once again had its release bumped now going from November 2, 2018 to March 8, 2019. Captain Marvel has been in development at the studio for years, but it wasn’t until October 2014 when Marvel chairman Kevin Feige formally announced that the film would be released on July 6, 2018 as part of their Phase Three slate. Then Marvel and Sony managed to work out a deal over the rights to Spider-Man and yet another reboot was given the green light for a July 2017 release in between Marvel’s offerings for that year – Guardians of the Galaxy V.2 and Thor: Ragnarok. As a result, Captain Marvel lost its opening day to Black Panther and was moved back to the November 2, 2018 slot that it was recently forced to vacate.

| Benicio Del Toro Will Return For ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy 2’
Benicio Del Toro has never been one to appear in superhero films, yet he did in last year’s Guardians of the Galaxy, where he played the eccentric Collector, the eponymous collector who lived up to his name by collecting interesting artifacts and life forms from around the universe. At first it looked like the actor wasn’t going to reprise his role for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, with what he has been saying during the press rounds about the possibility of him being in Star Wars: Episode VIII. However a new report says that the actor will indeed be coming back for Marvel’s space opera sequel. More on this story below.

| James Gunn Repeats That Hulk Will Not Be In ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy 2’
Having just heard that Mark Ruffalo will not return to reprise his role as The Hulk in Captain America: Civil War, many thought hulking behemoth would not appear until Avengers: Infinity War Part I and Part II. But it appears an old and already debunked rumor has reemerged to annoy some people. That rumor is The Hulk making an appearance or even teaming up with the Guardians in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. It’s an old rumor, and one that James Gunn has already debunked many times before. Now it has appeared once more, and Gunn has taken to Twitter to reiterate that The Hulk will not appear in the sequel.
